Everything impacts everything.

God speaks. You pray. We respond, for God responds. We are part of that spirit response, but you belong equally to everything that you seek. You seek love. You seek peace. You seek understanding, compassion, knowledge, and a greater awareness of spirit, but that is not some kind of obligatory list of all that you pursue. It is, in fact, a mere token or symbol of what you seek, indeed what all of us, your guides, seek. 

The life of spirit is a life of seeking. You seek to understand the meaning of life, but you seek to understand your neighbor. You seek to understand your family member. You seek to understand yourselves. You seek to understand the rhythm of events that course through your human existence. 

You seek and we seek, but there is another side to seeking, for we can say that God seeks. Certainly there is the concept of an omnipotent God, an all-knowing, allpowerful God, but such a characterizing of God is limited to characteristics that you associate with being human, for humans acknowledge power and wisdom, and therefore clothe their perception of God as one of power and wisdom. But God is so much more than that. There is a kind of seeking that is a part of God’s reality, for God is not just a figurehead, a person, that you respond to and pray to. A large component of what God is can be seen and felt and touched and smelled and tasted in your own senses. All that is created is God, and that means you are God. You may not be godly in the sense of embodying all you perceive God to be, but it is important to acknowledge that each of you is a part of what makes up the totality that is God, and therefore you are a part of God. You are God, not the entirety, but you belong to the entirety of God. 

You seek, and therefore God seeks. God is not looking for you, trying to save you. God is not judging you from a position of separateness from you. Rather God is inside and outside of you, because we are inside and outside. We encase you with love, because God encases you, surrounds you, cradles you, nurtures you in love. 

But God is seeking in terms of expanding, expanding the reality of peace, expanding the reality of love and all that that includes. When you as human beings seek, you are looking for a kind of expansion—an expansion of health, an expansion of wisdom, an expansion of love, compassion, understanding. Some seek power and influence, but what is that other than an expansion of the presence of self? So seeking is really an act of expanding, and God participates in that need for expansion, because that is common to all that exists. 

Light goes out. Light projects particles. The particles move from the source and are reflected back to the source, but light expands. There is no expansion to darkness, for there is no energy to darkness. There is an influence but not a self-contained energy. Only light has energy. 

All that you observe exists in a state of expansion and therefore seeking. We say God seeks for each of you to grow and develop. What that really means is that God is expanding in presence and in energy. Sooner or later each of you will succumb to the brilliant light of that energy and be part of it, because that is the nature of human life, to ultimately become a part of that light. This character of expanding is something shared by all, human and nonhuman. The expansion may not be in size. The expansion may not be in brightness, but there is in everything an energy that exists to expand. Each of you shares that, and it is important that you recognize that natural ability, that natural tendency that is part of everything. 

You are your neighbor’s keeper, because part of human life is to reach out, to embrace. In so doing, you expand. You are seeking the presence of others, and others expand because of that presence, because it is the natural condition to expand. Love expands. Peace expands. Knowledge and understanding expand. That is what energy does. 

There are, of course, counterbalances to expansion, and those are important. There is the natural force of gravity. There are many elements affecting the paths of subatomic particles so that they move in an orbit. The energy is to expand, but there is also an energy that contains. But without that energy to expand, all would collapse upon itself. 

Each of you is therefore connected to everyone else because of the seeking, because of the expansion, because your natural tendencies are the tendencies of God. You expand in your goodness not because you are afraid of the consequences of not expanding. You expand because that is your natural being. That is the nature of your energy. 

We spoke of other life-forms, and you wonder why it is important to know of them, and what their purposes are in your life or your purposes in their lives. All of this relates to this seeking, because light expands. The energy that you have, the energy that all life-forms have is one of expansion, and as you expand and interact with one another, even without knowing it, you are having an impact on the development of another being. 

These other life-forms provide you with a kind of protection. It is not a protection such as military protection or other physical forms of protection. It is a protection of spirit. You know that your soul, your spirit, cannot be diminished, cannot be eradicated, cannot be destroyed. You know your spirit is permanent, but where does it get the means for permanence? It is not just because it is spirit. It receives its permanence in great measure through the energies that are offered by some of these other life-forms. 

Your spirit does not exist alone in a vacuum. Your spirit does have a life of its own but is dependent upon the interacting energies of many beings. Yours, as a human being, is one of them. Just as you cannot adequately survive with zero contact with any other form of life, so, too, your spirit center must be accompanied. That accompaniment is provided by the energies we offer and the energies of other life-forms. You are dependent upon them, but they are also dependent upon you. Although they accompany you, there are some forms that are as unaware of you as you are unaware of them. Part of their expansion shares a component of your own expansion, and you do interact with one another. 

Why do we choose to share with you information about these other entities? It is because you are ready to understand more of your place within the continuum of what life truly is. Life is not a point on the circle. Life is the circle. Your lives are a point, but they belong to a much larger reality of spiritual energy. 

You sometimes pray for us, and that is greatly meaningful and helpful for our own growth, our own spiritual expansion. But you can also pray for all elements of life that you know of and all elements of life that are outside of your current knowledge. By praying for all forms of creation, you are reminding yourself of your place within that greater reality. 

Being reminded of that place, there is no need for ego. There is no need for selfcenteredness, for your point on the circle is just a point. It is no bigger or smaller than any other point. Indeed, it can’t truly be measured, for your life has no dimension to it. There is no space. There is no time. You exist outside of time, but you do exist. But because of your place in the circle of All That Is, there are no grounds for being more concerned about self than for others. 

It is easy to get caught up in your own worries. It is easy to be caught up in concerns of health, relationships, but those are just momentary fragments in the totality of what life is. By being so momentary, you are not insignificant. We merely assert that you are equal in significance and therefore permanently connected to one another. 

This connection to one another is not just in your thoughts or in your prayers. It is the energy that is yours, the energy that is someone else’s, the energy that is the bridge between you and another, the energy of these different forms of life. We use the analogy of the molecule of water and the ocean. The molecule is merely a molecule but is absolutely connected to all that the ocean is. There is no molecule in the ocean that is more important than another, but together they comprise what the ocean truly is. 

You are united. You are equal. You are significant. You share the energy that surrounds you. You share in the strength that is given to your own spirit centers. You share in the reality of being a part of all that God is, and you therefore share in the reality of being God. All are God! The stones, the planets, the trees, the molecules— everything that exists is God. All that you do resonates to the totality that is God. There is nothing that you do that has no effect. Your thoughts, your actions, your prayers of listening, your prayers of thanksgiving—all impact everything that is. 

You are indeed one. You are indeed part of God’s energy. You are blessed in that belonging. You are blessed as you expand outward and connect with many energies of spirit. You are blessed as you see your connection to all human beings. 

Rejoice in your connections! Rejoice in your expansions! And rejoice in your deepening vision of your place on the circle, the great circle that is God!
