God is with each of you. We, your guides assembled together, rejoice that you are again united for the purpose of understanding more deeply the meaning of your own lives and the connection each of you has with all who have lived in the past. This connection between you and us is at times mysterious to you, but from our perspective ,so natural and so logical. It is natural because each of you will one day join our side and become a part of this noble endeavor to guide others through the path of human life. You will join us as all eventually do. The progression from human life to spiritual life is natural. It is never hurried, but it is an experience ultimately shared by everyone.

There are many who complete their earthly experience who have difficulty recognizing that life for them has now changed. So many of you fear death or the passing to another life because you have no recollection of prior spiritual existence. But the transition to our side is so natural that many are unaware that it has taken place and are confounded by the realization that somehow they are unable to interact and fulfill the experiences to which they have become accustomed. For many, the initial stages of life in spirit are no different from the stages which are relished in memory from human life.

Each of you through your own experiences in this group and others is progressing in a direction which will help you recognize the difference in potential available in our life and your life. The result will be that you will not have difficulty in growing into a more rewarding spiritual existence. But there are countless others who have not experienced evidence of a life beyond human life, and for them the change which is presented is not recognized. The result is a desire to continue in human form, doing what one is accustomed to doing, even though one is no longer bound by the body. This period of transition from one level of energy to another varies in length according to the preparation of the soul. As we have said, for you the transition will not be difficult, but for those who are unaware in their human lives, the transition may be more lengthy.

During this period of indecision and a lack of recognition, spiritual energy is still present. You wonder about the possibility of attracting spirits who are in some manner less ready to move on. This is indeed a possibility, but it is not one which you should fear or be consumed by worry over. Souls who have crossed to our side and who are lacking in recognition are drawn to others who still remain in human life but lack recognition. Like souls wish to remain together with other like souls. It is only natural.

None of you must be concerned that you are attracting and being strongly influenced by negative or evil spiritual influences. Your souls are strong and are highly developed even though each of you is placed on a different spot on the path of spiritual development. From our perspective, we see your souls radiating great light. The radiation of this energy, this light as we see it, provides a strength which bonds our presence with your lives. It is we, your guides, who serve to protect you from impending evil influences. We are successful in our efforts because of your acceptance of us. For those who do not acknowledge the presence of guides, the help offered by their guides is not easily received.

We are here to instruct you, to lead you in your spiritual development, but we are also here to provide the protection offered through God's love. When you are surrounded by the strength of God's love, negativism has no opportunity to penetrate. Souls who have lost sight of God's presence are then vulnerable to the presence of other souls who seek to return to the experiences of human life. It is possible for individuals to be possessed, as you say, by the presence of another soul, but as those individuals grow in their knowledge and awareness of guides and God, there is less chance for such possession.

There are many avenues by which we guide you. We guide you through your meditation, such as in moments like the present. We can guide you through a feeling of warmth, of love. You can receive our guidance by seeing us. Seeing another spirit is indeed possible, but it is no more or less valid than hearing or being urged to speak or write. There are all different forms of communication, each of which are valid for a specific individual. There is no guidance which is more important or more valid than another. What is important merely is to recognize that you are guided by whatever means, that life continues after life, that your soul continues, that your soul has a consciousness, and that for some that consciousness seems similar or undifferentiated from that of human life.

Life indeed does go on. You are a part of that continuum. Each of you existed spiritually before your human life and you will return to that spiritual existence. The fact that you have no recollection of it does not change the reality of its existence. Memory, you must remember, is a human function. The soul does not "remember" in your sense, for memory implies a present time and recollection of a past time. For us, as we have said on so many occasions, there is no sense of time. To us, the past is the present, the present is the future, the future is the past. There is only life, there is only love— there is no such thing as time. Time is what you have constructed, but it does not really exist. It is merely a means of explaining and defining a portion of life and what is observed in life. Time for us is like thought for you. In the smallest moment you can be anywhere else in your thought, and it is so with us in regards to time. There is no time really. The past as you think of it exists with the immediacy of the present, as you sense it to be.

You are really living a continuum. All souls are living in a continuum. Because of the nature of this continuum, you are and will be aware of other souls at different points on this road of spiritual development. The interaction of souls at different points in their development are what are observed by you as being explained as negative spirits, as evil influences because they do not correspond to your current sense of reality, reality defined through a sense of right or wrong, good or bad. Sometimes you may perceive that another is being influenced by evil when it is rather influenced by a different level of love. Not everything which is different from your own experiences is evil. Do not try to judge what another does in terms of the presence of evil. What another does may not appeal to you. It may not measure up to your sense of what must be done, but that is not a reason to observe that other individual as being either evil or influenced by evil spirits.

The spirits of which we have spoken who are having difficulty with their transition to our side and to greater levels of love are not evil. The spirit is not an evil entity; it is only positive. But there are some spirits who exhibit more love and more compassion than others. Even those spirits that you would judge to be evil are not evil for they come from God, as do you all.

Be observant but suspend your judgments. It is important that you be willing to accept a sense of responsibility for your own behavior, your own activities, your own thoughts. It is not constructive to blame them solely on the presence of evil influences, evil spiritual presences. You live your lives, you make your mistakes, you correct them, you readjust your patterns, your focus toward God, and you move forward. That is what happens in your human lives. That is part of the school of learning of which we have spoken. If you accept responsibility for what you do and what you do not do, you are on your way for learning great spiritual truths. If you defer your activities to the presence of evil spirits or restless spirits, then you are avoiding the opportunity for your own growth.

Do not be so concerned about your own protection for that is why we are here. We guide you, we protect you when that is necessary. The love that we have for each of you is the same love that God has for all. There is no difference. The insights we share with you are insights that we have learned in our journey toward God. It is God who empowers us to transmit these lessons of love to each of you. Rely on those and don't be overly concerned about being magnets for restless souls. Those souls do exist, but they do not provide a great weight which prevents your own soul from soaring. We are your wings. Rise up to the sun!
