· Past, present, and future from a spiritual point of view

You are illuminated by the light of God’s presence, just as we are illuminated. We experience a different form of life than you, and yet what is significant in life is shared by all of us, not just us guides, but you who exist at all times among us. So, in a very real sense, there is no significant difference between existence only in spirit and existence with spirit. It is the spirit that is the common link.

You live with spirit. Your life is accompanied by spirits. Our lives are not burdened by physical attributes, so we exist solely in spirit. The matters of spirit that impact human lives are the same matters that occupy our loving attention. You pray for vision of the heart. We could say in the sense that you may understand, “We exist only as a vision of the heart.” It is that potential of vision that joins all of us together, because it is through that ability to experience heart vision that we are able to more easily communicate and guide your life in ways that are truly important.

You make decisions on a daily basis, and those decisions are based on your perceptions which may or may not include heart vision. But it is the spiritual sense of knowing that heart vision that is shared with all of us. We can say by extension that this common language we speak through the heart is in practice the language of all spirit, all soul life, whether that exists in human present time or the future or the past.

You wonder about the communication, the relationship that exists between what you perceive to be the past, the present, and the future. We often assert that there is no past or present or future as a collection of separate entities, rather all is in the present, and because all is in the present, there is nothing unusual about communication through spirit. There is nothing unusual about a heart vision that embraces all that is with a recognition that all that is is all that exists, has ever existed. It embraces all forms of energy.

We have said that energy is not destroyed; it is only transformed. What you perceive as the past in terms of the spirit is merely a different transformation, a different form, a different manifestation of the energy of spirit, and what you envision as belonging to the future is your mental construct of a future transformation of that same energy. Regardless of the form that energy may assume, it is still the same energy. That is why communicating with spiritual entities that you connect with the past is, in fact, no different than communicating with those energies that you expect to exist in the future. All that is happening is that all forms of energy, regardless of their particular manifestation, belong to a single entity, and that entity is most easily understood by you to be the present.

It is a matter of convenience for humans to see themselves as learning from the past and preparing for the future, but consider for a moment what learning from the past means. It means connecting, doesn’t it? It means finding some kind of bond of what you understand that you label as the past, but it is in that recognition that whatever you perceive to have been from the past really becomes a component of the present. When you are anxious or worried or fearful of what you consider to be the future, you are allowing those energies to be brought into and responded to through the present, brought into the present, responded by the present, and then that energy is sent forward.

If you consider a situation of great significance in the past that you feel is important to know, and you grapple with your concerns about what may be in the future, your response to the past and the future is exercised in the present. You are blending three forms of energy: one that you perceive to be the past, one that you perceive to be the present, however wide that present may be considered, and what you perceive to be the future.

You do not pursue your daily life without bringing some understanding of the past and some perception of impact in the future or influence by what concerns you about the future. All of that is blended together, but the past, the present, and the future from the spiritual perspective is only the now.

As you consider the now as a human being, you can define that in so many ways. What is now? Is it this very second? Is it this hour? This day? This year? This decade? This century? This location? This life? What exactly is the now? What is it that you perceive to be the future, especially when you have concerns about what the future may bring? Are your concerns about tomorrow, the next year, or within ten years? Are you concerned about what may be a century from now?

There is no defined limit to the past, present, or future. It is so fluid that the only way to fully comprehend the life of spirit is to understand that all that is spiritual, all that is significant from that perspective, all that is seen with the heart vision is that infinite now. The only thing that has meaning if you look at it through the lens of the human perception of time is that all is connected. All is a single unit.

You are influenced by what you perceive to be the past. You are influenced by what you perceive to be the future. The past and the future can never be defined. The only reality is that it is a broad and all-encompassing present. Because all exists in this spiritual now, this spiritual presence, communication and understanding are without limits within the traditional sense of time.

We speak of your connection with those who have joined us in purely spiritual forms of energy, and we assure you that there is full awareness and understanding of what you experience as you perceive the present to be. We, your guides, have often experienced human life as you would define it as being in the past. But if we were to say, “We have experienced human life that is yet to come,” that would be beyond anyone’s ability to fully comprehend. How can we say we have experienced what in human terms is yet to happen? You cannot explain that in a rational way, but the truth is given human understanding and its limits, we can say to you that some guides have already experienced human life many thousands of years in the future, and that is only possible because the future, as you define it, is the now in the spirit.

Your guides as well as other spirits evolve, are forms of energy, are transformed without a sense of past, present, or future. This is why we say time does not exist, that the concept of time is a human concept because it is a way of organizing experiences from the perspective of organisms who cannot fully grasp the idea of past, present, and future.

There are some who communicate with us whose gifts of communication appear to be able to predict the future. Indeed, the present person who is open to these communications from us has seen evidence wherein what we have described or declared ultimately are recognized at some point in the future. That experience is not unique, and it also does not mean that the future is predetermined. It is all a description merely of what is. It is a description of two kinds of energies that exist simultaneously. One kind of energy is experienced in what is described as the present, while another kind of energy is experienced in what can be described as the future.

You have known of those who feel they have an awareness of past lives. What is happening is their heart vison is capable of seeing a different transformation of the same energy. If you consider water in a lake that freezes in the wintertime, the ice could say, “Ah, in the past, I was actually water, and in the future, I will become water again.” But that entity of ice is neither remembering something different in the past and something different in the future. That ice is just seeing different manifestations of itself, for what is contained in the ice is the same as what is contained in the water. They’re just different forms of energy, but the basic form is the same.

It is this way with human life. It is this way with other knowing life-forms that are not human. We speak of knowing life-forms as being forms that are aware of some existence outside themselves of which they are a part. In actuality, those other knowing life-forms are simply different forms of the same energy that is central to your own life.

So, as was asked, from a human perspective, you can be living in the present and the past and the future at the same time. You can be living in human form while at the same time living in our form of existence, for each is a different transformation of the same energy. That energy is always present. It is always THE present. Changes in form can never be thought of as sequential.

Which came first, ice or water? They both exist at the same time. We could identify that present in very narrow terms and say, “This week there was only ice. In two months, there will be only water. At six months, there will be only ice.” In those short windows, it is easy to declare, “This is only water. This is only ice.” But if we take a larger perspective, we can say, “The lake is both. Sometimes it is in one form, sometimes it is in another, but the water exists whether it is in liquid or solid form. It is still the water.”

You exist whether you are in human life or spirit life. We, as spirits, exist in our own transformation, but we also exist in other forms. We can say to you that our presence in your life is also occurring in the lives of other life-forms simultaneously. We exist in several forms. Your spirit exists in several forms, but what is essential to you, your spirit, is constant even through the transformations, and even when those transformations exist in the human perspective simultaneously, they are still very real, and they are the same spirit.

Your soul is a guide for your current experience in human life, but your soul is also a guide for other souls. Those souls may be associated with other human beings or other nonhuman knowing life-forms. All is indeed one, and as you contemplate this oneness, you begin to have a clearer heart vision of your connectedness to all—all that in human terms is present, all that is past, and all that is seen as the future. You are all connected. You are not divided into time frames.

You, your ancestors, and countless future generations are a single entity, and you all have impact on one another. You have impact on fellow human beings that you see daily. You have impact on the souls of those who you regard as having lived in the past. You have impact on the souls of those human beings who you perceive to live many years into the future.

The energy of spirit is constant in its reality, and it transforms. It becomes other realities of heart vision, other expressions of heart vision. You belong, all people belong to all that has existed and will exist. The energy of spirit transforms. The energy of human life transforms. You were once a young child, but that was still you. You have lived in another location, but it is still you. You have friends in distant locations, and you can feel a direct and immediate connection to them simply by thinking about them, and it is in your perception of them that the heart vision is open to their spirits. It is when you think of prior generations in your families that your heart vision is opened to their reality, and that awareness has an impact on you in the present as you perceive it.

So, in the greater reality, you and others are all living together. In this greater reality, those of us in spirit-form are in no way separated from those spirits who have been transformed into what is considered human life. We are all united.

You belong to each other.

Have care for one another.

Have love for one another.

Love those about whom you know but have never met.

Send your loving heart vision to earlier generations that you know of.

Send your loving heart vision to the generations you see in the future, for it is in this extension of love, this broadening of love that expands the human concept of time, that the presence and light of God is empowered to illuminate all that is.

Be open to that illumination.

Be inspired by the evidence of God you may see.

Be inspired by the evidence of God you may feel.

Be inspired by the evidence of God you come to know, and

let your own life, your own light, all that you are illuminate and glow with that loving presence.
