The spirit and light of God surround, bless, protect and sanctify each of you as you are gathered. You are accompanied by your guides at all times, but there is much energy, love and compassion that characterize your assembly at this moment. This love comes not just from you but from each of your guides.

There are many of us here whose loving obligation it is to care and nurture each of you. You are not alone. Your guides also are by no means alone. No guide works in isolation apart from others who provide spiritual strength. We work, so to speak, in community. We know who we are, we know each other’s characteristics, and we are eager and ready to supplement and strengthen one another.

Indeed, for us there is even a sense of respect for one another. Respect is not something that is earned. It is something which is simply there because we are who we are. Each soul merits deep respect. It is for that reason that you merit deep respect. Respect is not yours because you earn it. It is not yours because you deserve it. No one is entitled to respect, for that entitlement presupposes the meeting of certain conditions.

The only condition which is shared by all souls is being a part of the entity of God. You are all immortal. You are all blessed. You are all enriched through your sharing of godly qualities. Every soul is equal, as you know. You share the same path, though you may be at different points along that path. Nevertheless, you experience growth in a way that is most appropriate for you. The divinity that is part of each of you means, by definition, that there is worthiness for respect and love, and that there is the capability of offering respect and love.

Spiritually in an essential manner, there is no difference between your souls and who we are, for all souls are absolutely equal. Just as we are aware of one another and are able to provide assistance to one another, so are each of you. In fact, so is every human being. Everyone is equipped with the same spiritual potential. Some exercise that potential more dramatically than others, but the potential remains equal.

Yes, of course, there are different gifts for different people. You all have different skills, but beneath all of those skills, what serves to provide the human condition with a sense of who each individual is is the spiritual entity that makes up who you really are, and that entity is of no difference one from another. You are, of course, different from one another on the visible plane of life, and that is as it should be, but it is important always to be aware of and responsive to the fact that you are all really the same. You are all really one. There is a unity not only among you in human form but between you and all who have lived and will live. It is a vast concept to accept, difficult but nevertheless true.

You evolve spiritually, you grow in your understanding, but so do we. We grow in this plane, we continue to evolve, we continue to become deeper, more profound in our spiritual brilliance. But despite the differences of growth, we are still all spirit.

Too often you emphasize the differences between peoples, groups, nations, but those differences are in the end of little value. They may have immediate consequences, far greater than you may wish, but those consequences are short-lived. There is no difference between people living a half-world apart. The differences that you see, that you can feel, that you can touch, that you are aware of with your senses are only temporary, are only superficial.

We experience, in our own way, a sense of frustration or disappointment, for we see this unity of all humankind, and we wish it were possible that you could recognize those similarities, recognize the spiritual union and stop focusing on the differences. Those visible differences, although superficial, create great pain, long-lasting suffering, enormous sorrow. The tragedy for us is to see that taking place and realizing that a resolution, a complete transformation cannot be achieved until after the body has been shed after the achievement of pure spirit. Our responsibilities as guides are to help you become more sensitive to the realization of that unity and more responsive to what that requires.

Disagreements between individuals are merely disagreements. They are conflicts within the self. They are not conflicts between two separate entities. They are really a system in conflict with itself, a push/pull confrontation, but the ultimate result is no motion at all. You are asked to put aside differences, to put aside prejudices, to suspend feelings of animosity, of jealousy, of hate, but also to suspend disbelief. That is perhaps the most difficult, for you all approach life from a rational perspective.

In the end, rationality cannot describe life, cannot define reality. Rationality will never define the soul, for that would imply placing a limit around the soul saying, “This is it. This is the soul, and somewhere outside that line is not the soul.” The truth is, there is no limit to the soul. There is no definition that describes your soul apart from another’s. In a sense, it is like defining a drop of water within the body of the ocean. You can take part of the ocean away, but the water that is in the ocean is part of the whole. There may be some differences caused by geography, but essentially, water is always going to be water. Salt water, fresh water, brackish water—it’s all water.

Your souls, therefore, are beyond definition. Because they cannot be defined, rational explanation will always be inadequate, for rational thinking, the logic behind it, always implies limits. You are asked to suspend your disbelief. Such experience is beyond explanation. In the end, it is not important to achieve full understanding of why something takes place. Rather, it is essential that you accept that such events do take place. Explaining it away doesn’t change reality. Suspend your disbelief. Allow yourselves the luxury of expanding your awareness to far greater potentials than your imagination can provide.

Expand your concept of spirit, of soul, beyond that of being limited to the confines of a body. It is a popular thought to believe the body is the house of the soul, but it is important to recognize that the body does not limit the soul. It is in some means a representation of part of the soul, but it is not the exclusive territory of it. Your souls, your segments of the total Spirit, extend infinitely beyond your physical bodies. It is for that reason that you are on occasion able to communicate with souls elsewhere, because there is no sense of space between souls since there is total unity. Suspend your disbelief in this definition of space as it relates to the soul.

You are indeed all one. You are unified in spirit. It is our prayer that you may find unity in person, unity in your relationships with people, unity in your sense of who you are within the realm of creation. We pray that your sense of desire for peace will include the recognition of the lack of real conflict. It is not to say you ignore conflict, but you place your vision of conflict within a far more significant recognition of the unity of all life. When you do, the conflict is lessened. It does not justify the conflict, but it lessens the pain that one feels in its presence.

You work for peace—you work for peace through a recognition of unity. You pray for health—you pray for health as a unified existence, as a recognition of no borders. Peace, health, love, respect are all functions of your acknowledgment of unity.

We pray with you; we pray for you. We offer you peace; we offer you a vision of peace. We offer you love; we offer you a vision of love.

God blesses your lives individually and corporately. You are filled with the light. Open your eyes and move forward.
