• All that exists is a single entity

• God does not create but transforms energy

• Jesus’ travels

God, who is the collection of all spirit, is with all of you in your seeking, in your joy,  in your anticipations. God is not a kind of abstract suffering, anthropomorphic presence. God is real. God is all that you imagine. God is all that you wish for. God is a reflection of the needs that you experience and is a manifestation of the consciousness of which we have spoken and shared.

Your lives are interconnected in ways that you know, but they are also united in a fashion that is beyond your recognition. This connection, this sense of belonging, goes far beyond the circle that you see before you. The connections of which we so often speak are the connections that bind all that is. We don’t say specifically that you are connected to all that will be with an implication that there will be something that does not currently exist.

When we speak on occasion of the future, we speak not in human terms but of a reality of a present that continues to expand. If you consider a contained gas that is then released, the gas is not increased. It is merely dispersed. It is the same amount of gas. You say that love increases. We prefer to see love that expands. Love is not something that increases. It is something that expands. There is not more love now than existed a minute ago. It is the same love but simply expands in impact, in influence. The future in human terms is in fact simply an expansion of the present. It doesn’t mean there is more present. It means the present that exists continues but merely expands.

Time, therefore, expands but doesn’t really exist in a past, present, and future. What you perceive as time is merely a different configuration of the present. What you anticipate for the future is simply an expansion of the now.

God created all, as you know, but that all in no way increases in number or complexity. It is merely transformed. The plants that grow from the ground take the energy from the soil and expand and transform. They transform that energy to something that has a different energy but not a greater energy.

All that is, all that we consider to be the creation of God, is a single entity that changes its relationships within through an exchange of energy, not a process of creation and destruction. Human beings think in terms of creation and destruction only because a form of energy suddenly comes into a pattern that can be perceived, and that energy is transformed into a pattern which is no longer in human awareness. The pattern has changed, it has been transformed, but it has not been destroyed.

So all is in the present. All exists. We say God continues to create, but the meaning of that is that God continues to transform. Human life, therefore, is not created or destroyed. Human life is merely transformed. Your spiritual entities, your souls, are merely one form of what has always existed and what will continue to exist—in other words, what exists as one kind of energy and also exists as another kind or manifestation of energy. It is the appearance of that energy that changes. It is not the energy being created or destroyed.

For this reason we can say your spiritual component in human life exists. It always exists. God did not make your spirits begin, did not make your souls start on the journey, for your souls are a part of the Creator, but the Creator, as you refer to this power, is the energy of transformation. You are different now than you were in years past as measured in human terms, but you are the same. You are a transformation. You are a change in the energy, but you are not new energy.

After your human lives are completed, your energy is transformed. Nothing is lost. Nothing is destroyed. The spirits of those who are existing only in a spirit form have undergone a transformation in their energy, but they are no separate entity from what existed in what you call the past.

When you pray for those of us who exist in spirit energy, you are praying for the same spirit that occupied the physical manifestation of that energy. The spirit continues. We can also say the physical energy that you see continues but in a different manifestation, a different form. It is a form that human beings in their normal senses are incapable of confirming, but that does not change the reality of existence.

Each of you transforms. Each of you evolves. Each of you expands. But none of you actually begin and end. Life is therefore not finite. Human life can be considered finite in its human form, but the life truly continues. The life, everyone’s life, is always in the present. It is the now.

So when you pray, the spirit for whom you pray of course is aware of the source of that prayer, for that source has always been there. The soul for whom you pray has always been there. All souls have always been on that inflated raft. All souls, therefore, are aware of all souls. Although the manifestation of the soul may be transformed, the recognition is constant. You are who you are. Your neighbor exists and has always existed, and because of that shared existence, there is nothing that either your neighbor or you can do to destroy the awareness of one another. You may not think of the neighbor. You may not know the name of a neighbor, but that is all so superficial. Beneath those dressings, the core is always there.

We say another individual is an extension of you, and you are the extension of another. Each of you is an extension, an expansion, of the same entity. Each of you belongs, therefore, together. There is no separation in life. There is no separation in creativity, in the creation of these manifestations of spirit.

Spirit changes in form, in energy. Some of those changes you sense, but most you have no awareness of. Despite that, the unity of which we often speak remains, and that unity is the present.

Time is perceived by humans because time is understood in terms of past, present, future. Try to explain to another the transformation of present into other energy forms and you lose that sense of awareness—awareness of unity, awareness of only the present. You perceive the present as in the past, in the now, in the future, because that is the only way you have of somehow linking what you experienced from one manifestation to another. The truth is there is no time. There is only the presence that expands.

Prayer, therefore, is a way of crossing the invisible boundaries of transformation. It is a means of joining a current now to another current now.

The question arises about the travels of Jesus. He indeed traveled what for him was a great distance, but he was also aware of the foolishness of place, and the fact that there is no other place, that all is here, and therefore the sense of travel can be more clearly understood as an exploration of the transformation of here. Travel as you know it was difficult, time-consuming, and filled with challenges. But when you think of the individual that you named as Jesus, it has little impact to relate those travels to widespread geographic locations. It is better to be concerned about the impact that life had on all else riding on the raft. It is not about where the raft goes; it is about what happens to those on the raft. It is the community; it is not the travels. It is the relationships; it is not the hardships. All leaders who have achieved a spiritual following have been engaged in the meaning of relationships and not the importance of place.

Each of you has traveled. Is it significant that one of you travels many miles and another a few? For in truth, any travel brings a greater awareness of your all sharing the same place. This became so evident with the first distant views of Earth, Earth as a globe in the seeming emptiness of space. Your awareness of Earth as a globe is not new, but that sense visually of seeing the earth as a single entity from afar makes any distance meaningless.

You are on the raft. You are all on the raft. You all have an impact on what is felt on that raft. Where the raft goes may of course be of interest and may mean life or death, but it is what happens on the raft that is of truly great significance, for the raft is the now. Where the raft goes is an expansion of the now, just as where the raft was is another manifestation of the same raft.

You are all in the present. You are all with one another. You are all an extension and an expansion of All That Is. Learn to embrace that expansion. Learn to embrace the extension that each of you is a part of, and you will sense in far greater measure God’s presence in everything and in all things.

You are blessed in your seeking. You are blessed in your being.
