Inspired Wisdom For Your Life

BACK TO INDEX

March 7, 2017

• Time as it relates to past, present, future

• The spiritual plane is a limitless present

• There is an existence with no strife or war

• Choices made in the spiritual realm

God, who is your Creator and the Creator of All That Is, surrounds the lives of each of you, those whom you know, those whose love you feel, and those whom you know nothing of, neither name nor face. You are all on that continuum of which you have spoken.

You share an interest in the issue of time as it relates to what you perceive to be the past, the present, and the future. Human beings are capable of experiencing a concept of time from a very limited perspective. Consider for a moment two vehicles traveling down a road side by side, and you are passengers in one vehicle. You look out the window, and all you may see is a vehicle overtaking your position. If this condition of being overtaken continued for an extended period of time, you would perceive yourselves as moving backwards. When the car that is next to you begins to lose its position and fall behind, experiencing that relationship over a long period of time might easily provide you with the sense that you are moving forward and the other vehicle is moving backward. To the observer along the side of a road, you are both moving forward. To a plane up above that is traveling quickly, both vehicles could appear to be moving backwards.

The relationship you have with the other vehicle only has meaning in its individual perspective, for when you are in the car, you do not experience the “compare” emotion in the same way as an observer along the side of the road or an observer in a plane far above. With passengers in a plane, they perceive that they are moving fast because the ground beneath them is moving in the opposite direction. But when you consider the rotation of the earth, it may be that the earth is actually rotating at a faster clip. You only perceive from your personal perspective.

So it is when you try to understand and perceive time. Your sense of time is from your own perspective, and that perspective can change based on your thoughts. Sometimes you say “time flies.” At other moments in your life, such equivalent time may seem interminable, but the time as measured by a clock is identical.

Our perspective of time, our understanding of what you experience as time, is a combination of your own observations, the observations of someone along the side of the road, and the observations of a plane far above. We see all of it, and we understand that everything that takes place is taking place at the same instant.

There is no component to life that is time. Time has been measured by human beings. It is perceived by other animals and by plants. It can be measured by the movement of planets around the sun. There is much that is interpreted by human beings as a matter of time.

The truth is your perception of time is shaped by a necessity from the perspective of where you are, how you think, what you see, what you feel. Indeed your perspective of time can be shaped by what you intellectually interpret as understanding. Those are your reference points, because each of you and all living things relate to one another in ways that are given evidence only by what is seen to be time.

On occasion, we have revealed to you that certain events may be resolved in a given way, and that is not because the future as you understand it is somehow predetermined. We see it, we see what happens, as being in a limitless present. We do not see the future. We do not see the past. It is not because we are blind to the future, blind to the past, rather we see all as a single unit. We see all belonging to one another. We see all wisdom as being a component of reality, but that wisdom is only a small component. What is real, what is an echo of what God created, is in fact beyond your perspective.

The two automobiles traveling down the road are simply the energy of two bodies. It is not measured by time. We do not see it as one being faster than another as you see it. Relatively speaking, we see two vehicles engaged in what vehicles do.

We see your lives as being what human lives are. We see the lessons you learn in the future as being lessons of human life. There is no distinction that can be made between what happens tomorrow and what is happening now. All there is is an interaction of human life and life of spirit. It is the constancy that we see, no more, no less.

You wonder about what might be existing in the future having an impact on your perception of the present, just as you perceive the past influencing the present. If you wish to somehow segment the true reality of now into what you call present, past, and future, then we could say the future of who you are impacts the present of who you are, but you are the same. You are who you are. You are the same person as you were at birth. The growth that takes place is a growth in the present, but you are nevertheless the same.

The colors that you radiate evolve and can appear different from the colors that you radiate as a child, but you are the same. The character of who you are in the future resides in who you are of the present. The character of the future of you belongs in its way to the character that you see from years ago. The manifestation may be different, but you are who you are. Your colors evolve, but they are always who you are. The nature of who you are, the true nature, is constant. It is never who you will become or who you were. You are. That is all that is true.

We don’t say God evolves, that God learns. We do say all are part of God, and that connection is altered, but you are still that connection to God. We say God Is. We also assert You Are. A thousand years may be measured in human times, but it is still the truth that You Are. There are changes in energy. There are changes in the particles, the atoms that make up what is seen today. But a thousand years hence, you still are, and the spiritual reality that exists in that seemingly different timeframe nevertheless has an impact on the now as you experience it.

Each of you seeks the end of war, the end of strife. It can be observed from our perspective that there is a condition, there is a state of existence with no strife, with no war. That we can assure you, just as you can be certain that in the morning, the sun will rise. Whether the skies are cloudy or clear, you know that in the morning the sun will rise. But it’s also clear to you that at night the sun is still there. It is your particular perspective and context that prevents your experiencing the sun, but the sun is still there.

These things you know. These things you are certain of, and it is with the same certainty that we perceive what you label as the future to be, in fact, an enormous present. The same can be said of your perception of the past. We see what you believe to be the past as being an important part of what is, because all that is remains. There is nothing that exists that reaches a state by which it ceases that existence. The existence may change, but the existence is present.

Therefore, when we commit you to an understanding that the future will be fine, it is because we are stating what already is. It is this brief moment that you occupy a place on the continuum of the now, that you wonder what is the future, what is the present, what is the past. We see it all as a complete whole, and for that reason we say all souls become a part of the reality that God is. That’s not a prediction. It’s a state of fact. It is a statement of what is. It is not a statement of what will be.

You are connected therefore with all souls, for all souls exist. You may experience a manifestation of those souls as something in the past, but in truth all souls continue to be present, continue to be whole. All souls continue to be love, whether or not that is recognized.

You wonder about the vision of souls who join our own context, our own perspective. No soul is revealed a reality beyond its capacity to assimilate that reality. There are souls who join us that are open, that are receptive. There are souls who reflect an ongoing awareness of all being sacred. There are also souls who are not so aware, but each soul that joins us shares an awareness according to its own capacity. For those with limited capacity, what is revealed to them will be perceived differently than what is revealed to other souls.

No soul is ever overwhelmed. No soul is overwhelmed by choice. No soul is overwhelmed by being in the presence of God. No soul is overwhelmed by the host of souls welcoming the presence of another soul. Being overwhelmed is not a part of a soul’s experience, but as souls, there is always the matter of choice. You can choose to be drawn in by the Light of Spirit. You can choose to question the reality of that Light. You can choose to wish for a more limited view of life. Each soul progresses, moves along the path, based on the wishes of that soul.

There is no right path and therefore a wrong path. All paths lead to God. All paths may not be necessarily what you would call a straight line, for if a soul is not ready to move in one direction, it is ready to move in another direction. What is important is not which direction. What is crucial is that the soul is moving. You move toward what it is you need. If you need more human experience, you move toward that need. If your soul feels fulfillment is possible in another direction, then that direction is pursued. There is no punishment. There is no sense of negative consequences. There is merely movement based on the principal needs of the soul.

We see souls who are not ready for that movement in one direction. And when those souls choose a very different direction, those souls are supported in prayer and action. Those souls are never alone and will ultimately rejoin souls who chose to move toward Light.

We can say most definitely that you have no fear in making a wrong choice, for you are engaged in the quest for understanding, understanding of God and the exercise of life. There will be no unattainable challenges to any of you. We can say the same for all human beings. The paths that you pursue are the paths for you to pursue. You do not need to change what is fundamental about you.

We see a growth in your present continuum. We see the soul within you evolving in depth and understanding, and as you pray for insight, for patience, for comfort, for strength, for peace, those prayers are being answered. You need but reach out, open your hands, and grasp the Light.

You’re blessed with the reaches you have been given. You are blessed by the strength that is needed in your grasp. And you are blessed in the Light that is the true goal for each of you.

Amen.
