• Communication between guides and humans
• Disarming the presence and power of fear
• Changes in belief and perspective are part of growth
You are in the light as is everyone. All that exists is in the light. It is a light that we have described previously as consisting of many wavelengths, many forms of energy of varying intensities in character. All human beings find a kind of resonance with a frequency that is most suitable for them. One person’s perception of spiritual light will by definition be different from another, for each person is particularly sensitive to a light energy that is most compatible with their own pathway of growth.
We speak often about God’s light, but it is not a light that everyone relates to equally. You respond to a kind of light that differs from the light that is best suited for your neighbor or your family member or for perfect strangers. If you live in a nation that speaks many languages, you grow in your abilities to speak those languages, for each language is a kind of channel that connects you with a different facet of that country. It is the same with God and with our communicating with you.
Every person has a guide that is a chief focal point for spiritual growth. The means of communicating that exists between the guides and those whom they embrace will be very personal. It is almost as if each guide had a particular language to speak that could be understood by their particular companion in the spirit journey.
For some who read these messages, much meaning can be derived. For others, a given message will not resonate. Indeed, as was mentioned, you can read a message at one time in your life, and that same message will carry a very different meaning when read at a different stage in your life’s journey. All this is to say that for each individual there is a pathway to spiritual growth that is unique. The language of that pathway is unique to that particular person. The truths that are communicated are invariable, but the means of that communication are infinite.
This individualization of the faith journey is clear for us to observe and to work through, and yet few human beings give much thought to the means of communication that are available between them and their guides. This communication is only one facet of God’s manifested love. Your understanding, your awareness of God changes throughout your life, and that is actually part of the purpose of human life. It is to experience these different interfaces, these different means of understanding God, and it is through this very spectrum of communication that you learn a broader view of life around you and learn a broader acceptance of all that you encounter in life.
This broader acceptance is not just different people but includes different events within your own life, different challenges, different exposures to viewpoints, different ways of looking at the world. But in your experiencing of these differences, you are in reality opening that spiritual window, broadening the heart’s vision resulting in a greater ability to embrace all that you experience, all whom you know.
The act of embracing life experiences is perhaps the most effective way of reducing the power of fear in life, for it is a fear of the unknown. It is a fear of an energy requiring change, and if you live your life reluctant to changes, then more and more of what you encounter can result in an increase of fear. When you are fearful, you feel pulled to what you know, to what you believe. You feel pulled toward those who share in those beliefs. You feel pulled toward those whose perspectives would seem to mitigate the fears. But such responses to fear are short-lived and have limited impact. To live life to the fullest one must continually be committed to disarming the presence and power of fear. Your relationships with others, your understanding of matters of the spirit, are all clarified and become more transparent through your abilities to reduce that fear.
You are concerned at times about how best to approach those whose beliefs seem strongly opposed to what you currently hold to be an illuminated path. You cannot change others. You cannot eliminate their fears if you harbor concerns of your own about your own inability to adapt, to grow your own limited vision and understanding of various languages of spiritually reaching others.
If you seek greater understanding of the perspective of others, that can only be effectively accomplished as you consider your own changes in understanding. Think back to a time when you held a particular belief to be absolutely true, and yet perhaps years later your conviction of what truth is will have shifted somewhat. By acknowledging how your views have changed, you are finding ways of understanding both the fears others may have and also the potential they have to change their perspectives. Such changes as may be made are encouraged by their own experiences, and your response to them is part of the experiences that they reflect upon. If their experience of your presence is one of being respectful, reaching out to learn more of what is believed by another, that example in effect mitigates some of their own fears of loss, for changing of one’s perspective on life is not about weakness. Changing one’s perspective is about growth. That change belongs to the process.
All of you are engaged in the process of growth. All of you experience moments when you are unsure about how to proceed as your perceptions change. That evolution of vision is at the center of what is necessary to embrace another with whom you deeply disagree. A life of anxiety is not a requirement for human life. Each of you has a light within that serves to guide and direct, that serves to embrace and inform, that serves to uplift and strengthen. We know much of the anxieties you feel at this moment in your lives. The anxiety is many-layered.
You may ask people what gives them the greatest anxiety, and you may be provided with an answer that is perceptive and true, and yet you may ask the same people at a later point in their lives what they are anxious about, and the answers may be totally different. So those individuals have experienced a broader life that has required shifts in beliefs and understandings. Because of those shifts, there is more opportunity for an open heart to embrace opposing views, and it is that more open-heart vision that strengthens the connection felt between people, between communities, nations, and cultures.
The human life is filled with so many changing perspectives. Embrace those changes and allow them to dissipate the energy of fear. Having less fear allows for greater love, allows for a more intimate view of God’s light. Life is always about change, and it is that change that is to be embraced, to be welcomed. It is a change that builds upon the strength of spirit, and it is that strength that is more capable of receiving the very specific ways in which the guides speak to each of you. You are in a sense learning the need to speak many languages, and it is in your response to those needs that your life takes on greater meaning, that your life becomes more loving, and that the presence of God’s light becomes ever stronger.
Embrace the challenges. Embrace the calls for change in your life. Let all of this bring you strength so that you can become a more brilliant light that is the true presence of God.
You are blessed in your seeking. You are blessed in your changing. You are blessed in the many ways that you can interact with others as a loving presence. It is God who is with you. It is God’s light that pours unhindered through the great window.
Amen.
