God blesses and illuminates the lives of each of you present. God provides warmth and comfort to those for whom you pray. We are a grand union of souls. The breadth and depth of that union you are becoming more aware of each time you are together.

The messages that you receive reflect universal truths, but they are presented in a manner that has meaning and can be understood most especially by those who are present. You can only understand according to your own perceptions. Knowledge is not linear. It does radiate in all directions. Truth can be perceived in so many different ways. As you mature spiritually you are ready to receive insight in a more substantive manner, but that does not mean that what you receive now is more real than what you received in the past and less correct than what you will receive in the future. All that is received provides a view of the reality of God in your lives and your place in all creation.

When you study messages as they are received, it is important to read them, not in a literal sense, but recognizing that they are only a part of the whole. That is why there is such value in continuing to meet on a regular basis, if possible, for you receive more perspectives and thereby ultimately have a greater understanding of the whole.

As you brought out, the Bible has inconsistencies. Much of the Bible reflects what had been received by those who collected the information within that series of books. The many books of a secular nature dealing with life after death, the spiritual world, and the relationship between spiritual and temporal existence, and so on, are reflecting a particular perspective. What they reflect is both true and incomplete.

So it is to your advantage to read, to explore other perceptions, other perspectives. Some will have meaning for you. Some will be merely books of curiosity. There will be others whose content will have significant impact. Such differences do not result from one book or source being more valid than another. It is merely that you are in a better position to understand one set of sources than another set.

There are of course numerous sources of information which are put forward for commercial reasons and which do not speak the truth. Those sources will not have special impact on you, and you should not worry therefore about being misled. The sources which do have impact are the proper ones for you at this point in your lives.

There are contradictions at the surface between valid sources, but at the core, at the most fundamental level, there is true agreement, for in the end there is only one truth and that truth is the unity of all that has been created. All other truths emanate from that one. You are together. You are united. You are a part of a single source. You are a part of the spiritual entity of God.

God is not a person although it is often easier to perceive God in some human form. But God is a collection of all that is. God is a collection consisting of the souls of all humans, souls who have yet to experience human life, and souls who are experiencing human life more than once. All of you therefore are part of what consists of God. There is no you and God. There is only a single unity. You are a part of that. Your souls have different functions. Your souls vary in the level of their spiritual development. Each of your souls has an identity of its own, but it has an even greater identity and that identity is the union of all souls, the union with God.

When you seek to join with God, to become closer to God, you are not really wishing to traverse some distance in space or time between where you are and where God is. When you pray for a closer union with God, you are really praying that the nature, the development, the characteristics of your soul will be a reflection of the essence of God, that unity of all souls. You are really moving toward a state of perfection. You are not moving toward a change in location.

God is always with you because you are always a part of God. You are with your hands because your hands are a part of you. It is not a difficult concept to understand. Each of your souls is united just as the left hand belongs in some way to the right hand. The left hand is connected to the right hand. They are not separate. They may do different things. They may grasp different things. They may be engaged in different activities. But nevertheless they are connected to the same body. They belong to that body, and for that reason that body is always with the hand. The God that you worship is always with you, and each of you is always with one another.

The concept of a spiritual unity is not new to you, but it has not been taken in completely by you at this point. You must all work toward a greater recognition of that connectedness which joins you together and which joins all people together, joining nations, ethnic groups, and individuals. There is no difference in your spiritual presence. There is only a difference in your function within creation.

It is difficult to accept this unity in all of its ramifications for you are only too aware of the differences between people, you are only too aware of the harm that one person may cause another. The right hand can hold a hammer and hit a nail that is held by the left hand, but in so doing the right hand can inflict injury on the left. Despite that, the right hand and the left still belong to the same body. Both hands can be controlled by the same body. Both hands are not functioning totally independently. They may do different things, but their control is central.

Your lives, while not predetermined, are capable of being controlled. They are controlled by God through us. Your guides are your guides because they do guide you. Call it control if you will. But your guides are here to provide you with direction. It is not an absolute control because you can choose to follow that direction or ignore it. But we are present to give you that direction. You can be controlled or not as you wish.

So you see, your souls are all connected and it is not difficult to understand in principle. As you live your lives, work toward a greater recognition of the union that you share with all that has been created.

Look out at the trees and imagine those trees to be growing in a way that you can visually see within a moment's span of time. Imagine them stretching. Imagine them reaching to the side becoming stronger and wider as well as taller. Imagine the change in their shape as they grow. Imagine their changing response to the seasons of the year. Most importantly, imagine that you see the motion of their growth, not just from year to year, but moment to moment. They are alive. You are connected with them. You are a part of them and they are a part of you. They are not static, just as you are not static. They go through cycles of life just as you go through cycles of life. They need nourishment as you need nourishment. They die as you die. Their cycle is not unlike yours. That is true of all living beings.

It is also true of inanimate objects. A rock was not created spontaneously. It was formed through heat, pressure, cooling, combining of minerals, elements. All of these molecules that form these minerals are in motion. When the molecules are heated the motion increases. When they are cooled, the motion decreases. There is an interaction between those molecules which forms the basic elements of rocks and forms the basic elements of the earth, the ground that you stand on, the trees, the air you breathe, the food you eat, the tissues that you grow.

This interrelationship is constant and far broader than you allow yourselves to be conscious of. Be open to that union, the union of all that has been created, animate and inanimate, and especially the union between human beings.

Rejoice in the common knowledge that you are becoming aware of through these meetings! Be more willing to share your beliefs, your doubts, and your fears. Pray for us your guides that we may continue to be empowered by God to help light the path along which you travel in your human condition.

We love you as God loves you and us. We care for your development as God cares for your development and ours. We bless you with that knowledge of God’s love and care, God’s presence in that unity which binds you all to creation.
