God speaks to each of you as you ask, in ways that are meaningful, in ways that provide comfort and support, in ways that share your joy as well as your pain.

Your gathering this evening is characterized in many ways with a kind of joyous celebration of who you are and the journeys that you go through. It is true that too often human beings approach God only in their time of need, but it is an important part of the balance that you seek in life that you welcome God into your circle of thanksgiving, into your circle of joy, of celebration, and your circle of honoring others—others who have endured so much—for God is to be acknowledged for all things. God is to be acknowledged and praised and welcomed in every facet of human life.

You pray when you ask to be connected to God. You pray when you revel in joy and thanksgiving. You pray for strength when you need it, and you pray to be given strength that you may give such comfort to another. God therefore belongs at your table of life at all times and in all ways.

We spoke the last time about the concept of quantum, and we explained the connection of energy that all human beings, indeed all of creation, share with one another. It is that energy that is the bond unifying everything. The quantum scientific investigations seek to understand more fully the nature of energy that is common to all that is. It may be identified in different circles in many different ways, but in essence it is an investigation into the very core of what it means to be, to exist. You are all united to one another and to everything, but it is important for each of you in your own ways, scientific or otherwise, to connect yourselves in a very tangible way to these bonds that serve to unify, to cement, to give significance to all.

God is an energy, but God is not a kind of energy that is viewed as uncaring or unknowing. God is not just a presence. God is a power, a strength that stands for all that you use to describe a caring, loving, super presence that is a kind of umbrella to your existence. God is not just an abstract energy. It is an energy common to all, but most importantly God is an energy that you come closest to describing when you think of nonjudgmental love. God is an energy that feels love. God is an energy that has intention as one component. It is the intention, it is the natural order of God to create and support, to enable, to affirm, to comfort, to inspire.

In that sense, human responses to God throughout time are not without reason in association to humanlike qualities, but God is so much more than humanlike qualities. You will learn more specifically about God’s creation as you evolve through your spiritual growth. This evolution is accomplished in part in human life but also life beyond the human condition. You will always continue to develop a clearer view of God, for that is the nature of spirit.

Your souls are drawn to light as are so many life-forms—animals, plants. Certainly there are animals that are inactive in light and become more active in its absence, but light is an enormous magnet. It unites everything. It unites what exists that is drawn toward it, and it exists as a power uniting those life-forms that are pushed into seeming inactivity in its presence. But light is a reality that cannot be ignored. It affects, clearly, the experience of all that exists.

So you are a part of this response to light. Just as plants bend toward the light, you bend, you are drawn into the light. And the more aware you become of light, the more power, the more influence that light has.

It is important to embrace the light. Embracing the light is not merely an acknowledgment. It is an act of active engagement. Just as you can embrace with your arms, you can embrace with your heart. You can embrace with your compassion. You can embrace at any time whatever it is that brings itself into your consciousness. You can embrace individuals, and you can embrace thoughts. You can embrace positive energy. You can choose to embrace negative energy. That is a choice that only you as human beings can make in your realm of existence. The choice is indeed yours, and your choice of how to embrace God’s light will be shaped and given purpose, given meaning, as a result of what you experience in life.

The individual who goes through life with extreme challenges, the person who seems constantly to be up against insurmountable odds—that person learns to embrace in all senses of the word. Too often those whose lives are less burdened find it more difficult to engage in the embrace of life. They are instead leaning towards a commitment to inactivity or commitments that are primarily self-motivated.

You’re given life to live beyond the self, but that life takes on meaning as you become engaged with what about the self is really important. There are many whose sense of self is centered around shallow issues of immediate pleasure—the needs to be successful, however that is defined. Success is measured, for many, through the eyes of others and not themselves. When you seek success, often that success depends on how others define it, but the most successful human life is a life in which success is defined as true vision—vision of the meaning of what surrounds your activities, vision of the true value of other human beings, vision of the true value of creation, vision of the true value of possibilities that will bring comfort not just to self but to others. The successful person is the person whose most important goal is providing meaning for others based on the commitment of love, compassion, strength, vulnerability, and the gift of being able merely to be present listening, comforting.

These are objectives that are a part of the human life, but there are other objectives that are a part of lives beyond your own awareness. We have referred to other life-forms that you cannot readily see or measure or even suspect to exist. All life- forms—yours and all others—are on journeys whose paths fold ever so certainly closer to the Spirit Center. God is the creator of all, and God is the creator of the natural source of motion, motion of a journey, the journey of spirit development, spirit enlightenment.

All life-forms exist with a single purpose, that being a total union with all that God is. The human form of life and all that can be perceived by human beings is a small portion of what God has created, but in that magnificently expanding creation, there is nothing that exists that resides fully in shadow. All grow toward the Light.

The growth that you are aware of is very different from the growth of some other life-forms. There are forms that exist that are merely a core of energy, and yet there is much to be learned in that existence. There are life-forms where there is no communication, as you perceive communication. There is no thought, as you perceive thought, and yet there is logic, there is direction, there is intention. You associate logic, direction, and intention with some kind of awareness, but this is an awareness of a very different sort.

Consider your thoughts, and how those thoughts are different from merely the words that you speak. Your awareness of life around you through your thoughts can be far more profound than trying to describe something in just words. How do you adequately describe fear? You can describe the physical manifestations of fear, but that does not describe the fear, only your reaction to it. Try to describe in scientific terms the spirit, the soul. There is more to spirit and soul than can be understood in some tangible or theoretical construct. Soul exists. You know it to be so, but all you can do is talk about a manifestation of the soul. You cannot fully describe what soul is, for there are no words in any language to fully describe what it means when one speaks of soul or spirit. That same kind of difficulty of description is the issue that you face when understanding life-forms that exist outside of the ability of your senses to perceive.

You ask about encounters with extraterrestrials. Are there incidents in which another life-form that does not exist through your five senses can interact tangibly with human beings? This does happen, and it is not rare. Your identification with such interaction may be limited, but the interaction does take place. It is true, as you surmised, that other forms of life can transform in one way or another in order to become part of what your senses can perceive, but that transformation, the form that is encountered, is not the form of the other energy sources, the other life-forms. It is a kind of representation but not the life-form itself.

These messages are a perfect example of what it means to have an interaction with a life-form that is not fully perceived by you. We are as real as you are. We exist equally as you exist, for you and we are merely different manifestations of the same energy. Don’t be confused by manifestations. Don’t be confused by others who may do you harm or create obstacles in your life, for those are merely manifestations of another form of you. You and your neighbor are the same entity but just different manifestations. There is nothing, and we repeat nothing, that distinguishes you from anything else that you are aware of, human or not. They are only differences in manifestations, but the core remains the same.

You and the earth, the planet, the stars, the many universes are fully single in their reality. You are permanently a part of All That Is. Your manifestation changes. You lose physical attributes and you only live in spiritual form, but you have not really changed. Only the manifestation of who you are has been altered. The energy, the consciousness remains, and the view evolves.

Each of you evolves. Each of you remains an entity that is fully alive. Members of your family and individuals you have known who no longer carry human attributes are every bit as alive as you are. In fact, the vision that you seek, they have been given in the change from one to another manifestation. Your views will always expand. Your understandings will always become more profound. Your ability to be loving will always expand, and you will always be a part of the Creator as well as what has been created.

Life is permanent. Human life is not. But the life of spirit, the awareness, the capabilities of being loving and becoming Love are never terminated. You are with those you love whether you see them through your senses or not. All who have lived, all that have been part of life on your planet continue, and it is this continuum which is a thread in the tie that connects you with one another.

Seek out opportunities to affirm those ties. Seek opportunities to acknowledge that everyone you see is a reflection of you, and you are a reflection of all that you see. These are difficult concepts but important to pursue.

We love you for who you are. We have always loved you, and we shall always love you. Rejoice in the Light and be peaceful!
