• There is no time, space, or distance

• Everything that is is united

• Individual souls are part of THE Spirit

• Exchanges of energy in giving and receiving

• No life is more blessed than another

God embraces each of you. That embrace is a love not only for you, but a love for all that exists. As you know, there is no reality to time. There is only what is. God’s embrace therefore includes all, everything. In your terms, that embrace includes all that has been, all that is, and all that will be. But there is no time; there is no space.

There is no distance. It is only the creation of a concept by those who experience consciousness. As there is no distance, you are all united completely. You go through your lives not seeing one another. You go through your activities not necessarily thinking of one another, but you are nevertheless united.

THE Spirit, not your spirit, THE Spirit is universal. Each of you is part of THE Spirit. Each of you shares in the reality of THE Spirit. Your individual souls are part of THE Spirit. That part communicates one to another constantly, for this communication is an energy. It is not a communication of words, although it can be.

All that exists has its own particular energy, and that unique energy forms a permanent bond with all other forms of energy. You cannot exist without being connected to all that is. Just as we continue to use the analogy of the drop in the ocean—the single drop is a part of the ocean, the single drop belongs to the ocean, the single drop is the ocean—the single spirit is part of THE Spirit, the Spirit Center, the Spirit in wholeness. All life is whole.

Yes, your experiences are individual in nature. Your experiences are shaped by your lives. Some lives are characterized by strength in one area, and other lives are characterized by a different strength. But regardless of those differences, lives are whole. They are full. What do they contain? They contain the capacity to love. They contain the capacity to transfer energy—to receive it, to offer it outward.

The stone transfers the energy of its environment. It absorbs the warmth of sunlight. It absorbs the coolness of the earth around it. But it contains what it absorbs, and in turn it transmits that energy all around it. It is not an energy of love, but it is an energy because of Love.

You are no different from that stone, for you receive the energy of those around you. You receive the energy of life as it surrounds you. You receive the energy of beauty. You receive the energy of fear. You receive the energy of pain. You receive the energy of anxiety. But you transmit the energy that has been received outward.

It is our loving responsibility as your guides to help you take the energy from within and transform it into an energy that is shared with others, an energy that is shared with nature. It may be an energy of teaching. It may be an energy of service to others in many disciplines, but it can always be an energy that springs forth out of a loving spirit center. You all therefore receive this energy, and each of you has the capability of transforming all that you receive into something that reflects your current understanding of God.

A life filled with pain and anguish can often be a life enormously blessed by the capacity to act with deep compassion. Why? Because what you have experienced in anguish gives you a vision and an understanding of what others may be feeling with similar anguish. The pain you feel connects you profoundly with the pain that you see. For those whose lives are enormously blessed by what seems in the view of others to be only good fortune, those lives are given the capacity to direct the energy from that good fortune to those less fortunate.

Each of you, regardless of your life’s experience, is able to reach out, to embrace, to enfold, to uplift, to counsel and comfort. There is no life that is more blessed than another, for every life experiences the potential for interaction with others. That interaction is directed through your own vision. We, as your guides, can help provide clarity in that vision.

Of course there are times when you wish to reach out and feel incapable of doing so. That is, of course, part of God’s presence, for just as the pitcher serves to distribute its contents, the pitcher is also shaped in order to be refilled. Every life needs refilling. Every life has within it the opportunity for receiving love from others. You cannot constantly give unless you are open to receiving.

Receiving in such a way requires that all human beings allow themselves to be vulnerable to their own needs. How many have you met who refuse to recognize that vulnerability? You see this as pride. You offer to help, and another says, “Oh no, I’m fine,” and yet you are fully aware that there is need. Being willing to be filled so that you can give requires your willingness to admit that there is need. In your desires to serve others, in your desires to be compassionate, be equally open in your willingness to admit when you need help.

Both the giving and the receiving are part of the rhythm of life that is necessary for the balance of spirit. No one only receives. No one only has needs that must be fulfilled. All people, despite their place in this cycle of needing and giving, experience exchanges in this relationship, this dual polarity of life. No one who seems to be all- giving lives with no needs. Each of you in your lives must be open, not only to an awareness of your own needs, but to the needs that are around you. Such needs may seem brief. They may seem at times superficial, but they are still needs.

As you go through your lives, it is our effort to help give your spirit vision. You must see. You must be aware of what’s around you. Seeing is not a matter of the eyes. That vision is a matter of the heart. It is an openness to others. It is an openness to the environment around you. It is an openness to the energy that you are surrounded with. It is an openness to the warmth, to the cold, to the joy, to the sadness, but it is always an openness of the heart.

You are asked to love because you are asked to be open. You’re asked to be compassionate because you’re asked to be giving. You give what you have. You give love because you have love to give. You give compassion because others have expressed compassion to you. You give patience because others have been patient with you. Such gifts of others you may not always recognize. The recognition itself is not crucial, but the knowledge that such gifts enter your lives from whatever source is crucial, for believing that you do receive those gifts gives you the faith and the courage to replenish the vessels of others.

There is much that unites each of you with another: experience, opportunities, friendships, acquaintances. But you are all part of this unity. You must rejoice in the reality of that unity—the unity that you experience at this moment, but also the unity that accompanies you on your journeys through life. Feel connected to all. Feel connected to everything. Feel connected not only to suffering and fear and anxiety, but connect yourselves to what is joyful, to what brings beauty. Connect yourselves always to what affirms love, and regardless of the paths you travel, that connectedness will provide you with the strength of peace and with a profound and infinite love.

We, your guides, collected with all of you assembled, bless you with that loving presence that is God. We bless you with peace. We bless you with love. We bless you with the exchange of all forms of energy, and we offer God’s loving light as an illumination to each of your spirits.

Rejoice in the light! Rejoice in the love!
