Inspired Wisdom For Your Life

BACK TO INDEX

July 12, 2023

• Accepting the many ways of asking the big Why? questions

• Nonphysical universes and beings

The presence of God permeates the lives of each of you, of all people. God’s presence permeates our lives as guides. There is a strength to that presence that is undeniable. Your awareness of God in your life waxes and wanes. There is an ebb and flow to your conscious awareness of God, even of our reality. For us, there is no time when we fail to witness God’s love in all that we do.

As guides, it is of course our intention to speak to you in ways that have meaning, in ways that are a clear indication of God’s presence. All that we do, all that we share with you can only be done in the presence of that loving light that you think and perceive of as God.

We have said in the past that God is not really a single figure. God is not some overlord who determines the fate of all, who makes decisions about who is deserving of what. It is of course most natural for human beings to reach out and attempt to grasp a concept of God that has some distinct meaning.

As long as there have been human beings on your planet, there has been a wish to understand what is human life, why is human life, and what happens at the end of human life. Being alive carries with it a recognition that one also will cease to experience human life, and that part of the sacred space that we refer to can be filled with uncertainty and consumed by fear.

The many ways in which human beings have organized their understandings of God into one form of religion or another serves as an attempt to fill some of the gaps of uncertainty, to assuage the fear that often surrounds the ending of human life, the ending of a particular person’s life. It is understandable that the many religions of the world, both large and small, grapple in one way or another with the question of what is life, why is life, and what happens at the end of human life. Such quests for beliefs are an essential component of what it means to just simply be alive.

Most other life-forms that you know of have no clear sense of how to observe their own lives and ask why, what is the meaning, where does it go? There are many other knowing life-forms in existence in other locations that also approach these issues of what and why and where.

It is this inquisitiveness that is so much a part of human life that ultimately leads to a codification of ways of living that provides meaning. The specifics of what those religious practices espouse are not in themselves so important. Some feel that there is no reincarnation, but there is some kind of awareness that continues. Others feel there is reincarnation, and that those transformations progress from one human life to another human life. There are some who see themselves as a part of the fabric of nature and leave the questions of where life leads in the air, believing that what is important is not what happens after human life but rather what can be an affirmation of the life at present.

All of these approaches have a validity of their own. We often share with you matters of life beyond human life, but we share that not so that you will seek life beyond human life, but rather that you will value and cherish the human life that you are experiencing. In other words, your real focus is one of finding meaning to the present. Humans cannot predict with accuracy what happens when physical life has ended. One can adhere to hopes. Those hopes can lead to beliefs, not necessarily based on known facts but motivated primarily by the hopes.

You’re experiencing these communications with your guides in part motivated by the desire to understand something of life beyond human life, but it is clear to you that the purpose of these lessons is one of giving meaning to what you experience, giving direction, giving purpose to the now. That now, of course, changes constantly, and so your understanding of why life will also go through changes.

Our purpose is to help guide your life, not to make you long for what happens in the next life. And yet having some understanding of what exists beyond human life is strengthening the heart vision to provide greater meaning for the life that you have. You are in this spirit search for the very reason that you want to know what is life, why is it, where does it lead. You want to embrace the present. The embracing may not be one of saying, “Oh, all is going well.” The embracing may be most poignant when you are struggling to find God’s presence in the midst of what you are experiencing.

God speaks through the heart. We speak through the heart. You hear us through the heart, not necessarily the organ of the body but the reality of the spirit.

This searching that you continue to undertake belongs to the profound searchings of all in the history of the developing reality of human beings, as you know them. We, on our side of this sacred space, also seek a more profound understanding of the meaning of God’s presence that we know and feel and are aware of constantly. That presence is a combination of the spiritual insight, strength, and unity that belongs to all that is, whether in your identified universe or elsewhere.

There are universes that are not defined in physical terms. These nonphysical universes cannot be observed through normal scientific channels. They exist beyond your capacity to view them, and yet they are real. They exist on a spiritual plane that cannot be defined optically or through any other concrete method. There are in these universes life-forms that are knowing and yet not physical. These knowing beings are fully aware of God’s presence, and they, too, are filled with a quest to understand more completely how God connects to them in meaningful ways so that their lives, existence, and spiritual energy have purpose and direction.

Seeking God’s presence in life, therefore, is essential in your life, and when you find others who doubt God, who question the reality of a God, that is part of their journey, and that doubting and questioning, while it may seem ongoing is only a part of their entire evolving as loving entities. In human terms, it may last years. It may last a human lifetime, but that does not change God’s presence, and for those who choose not to seek a purpose in life beyond what they are experiencing, there is growth. There is development, and for all, there is a coming together to become a borderless unity of this overwhelming loving presence.

In this sharing of information about God, there is no intent to criticize those who perceive of God as a kind of person, a single entity that one can pray to for spiritual renewal and refreshment. Those who choose to perceive God in that way do so because that is the vehicle for fully understanding God from their own pathways. It is not important in the end whether one perceives God’s presence in one’s life as coming from a single source or from a combination of all. They all serve one purpose, and that is to understand more fully what life is, why there is life, and where it leads.

You are all on a quest of spirit. You are all seekers of what it means to be loving. You all search for directions that help to give your life meaning and purpose, a sense of connection, an understanding of what it means to be loved and to be loving.

We are with you on this journey. We accompany each step you take. You may take steps that appear to be correct and later appear not to be so, but that is part of the growth of spirit, the strengthening of heart vision, the strengthening of souls. Embrace your own path regardless of where it seems to lead. Accept your decisions that in hindsight seem worthy, but also accept those actions and thoughts that were not viewed at a later point with such affirmation.

We say often, “Where you are is where you should be.” It does not imply where you are is where you should stay! Where you are belongs to your pathways.

Allow yourselves to perceive God in ways that provide meaning in your life, for in those seekings, perceptions, beliefs, and hopes is centered the presence of God. That presence is constant. You know it is nonjudgmental.

Take that knowledge and accept others without judging their value, without judging the direction of their paths. Find ways of lifting up with affirming love all others. Regardless of their station, regardless of their actions, regardless of their words all need to be given a foundation that can be affirmed and supported. There is space for love for all people. Seek that space. It is part of the sacred space of which we spoke. What binds each of you together is indeed sacred, just as the space that binds you and our lives together is sacred.

Find peace in your searchings. Find peace in your successes. Find peace in what you perceive to be failures and find peace in those same journeys of all you come in contact with. You are blessed with that peace always.

Amen.
