• Root of fear is concern about loss
• All is in the now
• Some other life-forms are aware of the Spirit Center
It is the God, the Creator, the Spirit Center, the giver of life, the energy of love that belongs to all that is, which surrounds each of you and nurtures your souls.
We who are your guides, collectively, are fully aware of the immediate concerns that you experience, as well as longer term concerns. What creates the various levels of agony that you know of comes out of fear, but what is it that is actually feared? The root of all fear is concern about loss, and it is from that loss that fear can spill over to anger and irrationality.
In the midst of so many issues, it is easy and of course understandable to become entwined with confusing rhetoric, with confusing intentions, with confusing actions. One loses sight of what is most important.
The political realities that you experience, regardless of your preferences, be they toward one party or another, may be well-founded and yet are essentially short-sighted. We are not implying that this short-sightedness is one of selfishness, but rather it is an orientation toward what is known or thought to be known, when the reality is that there is much beyond what is known.
As you know, we do not view human life in a chronological fashion that relates to what is happening today and what is happening tomorrow. Those differences are merely the minutest of specks on the grand circle of human life, of spiritual life. We are not implying that you should disregard the concerns you may have, but rather accept those concerns, act according to them, be devoted to them, while recognizing that they are but a small part of the much larger picture.
The truth is all human beings are on a continuum that belongs to a reality that is permanent, that is life-giving, that is conscious. There is no yesterday, today, or tomorrow. All is in the now! We can say that your growth as human beings all takes place in the now.
If you take, for example, the foliage which is seen by many at this time of year to be inclusive of many colors—greens, reds, yellows, browns, grays—all of these colors are existing at the same moment. The green leaves will change at this time of the year, but what you see for the briefest moment is a combination of colors that you could describe as what they were, what they are, or what they will be soon. The green may change to yellow or red, or merely become gray and brown, but that transition is happening everywhere, and you are able to observe all colors at the same time.
This is a way of imagining how we observe human life. We see the child, the young adult, the older adult. We see the spirit life before birth. We see birth, we see death, we see rebirth, we see many transitions in life, and they are all in the now, just as you see the transitions in the components of the leaves that all represent the now.
You cannot ignore what you are experiencing and put it aside and say it is unimportant, for all that is happening is important, just as in the fall foliage. But those colors would not exist without the leaves having life. All is important, all belong to the now. You may think back many years to fall foliage that you have experienced, and that seemed filled with joy and many impressions, and yet as you look back, it is all but the smallest of incidents within the arc of your own lives.
It is important when you observe aspects in your life that are creating joy, that joy is important to savor, to welcome. But it is equally important to recognize the necessity of experiencing events that indeed create those concerns that you are experiencing, that transition from joy to concern and back to joy again, that cycle of evolving, of becoming, of changing. That cycle is a cycle of now. Your lives are never static. You don’t experience life in an exact, unvarying way for even a moment. You live life because of what you have gone through.
The lives that you experience in this current form of energy all have an impact on how you interpret what you see. Your vision is always through a lens, and that lens is formed by changes, by transitions. That process of change is always in the now. The specifics of where you may see yourself within those changes may differ from time to time, but the change is constant, the change is there, and the change belongs. Take away those frustrations and concerns, and you take away what you can draw from them. You eliminate an important part of the nourishment of Spirit.
As we say, it is natural and understandable that you experience concerns for the physical, social, and cultural aspects of life. But it is equally essential and natural to try and see all that you feel as being part of an ever-changing now. We observe your lives, therefore, not in terms of yesterday versus tomorrow; we see your lives from the perspective of the changes that occur and your response to those changes. Our function within this constantly changing and evolving landscape is always one of communication. We alluded to this previously.
It is also important to recognize that part of your own development depends not only on our efforts to guide and direct and protect, but also the efforts of other life-forms. We are here to assert in the strongest ways possible that there are many life-forms that are aware of the existence of a Spirit Center. You, of course, are knowledgeable of only one such life-form, but there are many others. They are comprised of energy centers just as you are an energy center, but these other life-forms resonate. They operate in a kind of frequency, as you would describe it, that is not seen or felt in any way by the human form. Likewise, there are some other knowing life-forms that are not fully aware of the human form.
What is important in all of this is that you understand that your lives are being guided, protected, and nurtured by the Spirit Center that you call God, by other spirit entities that you identify as your guides, and also by many others of these knowing forms of energy that are fully aware of the existence of the Spirit Center, the Creator.
There are many kinds ofenergies that you resonate with and that consciously resonate with you. You know of the strength of prayer. You know of its impact. You cannot see it or feel it in a physical, tactile sense, and yet you know it’s there. You believe in the presence of God as a guiding force, but you don’t see it. You may feel its impact, but you don’t feel the physical presence. Just as there are such energy-forms that you know of and have some understanding of, there are these other energy-forms that are equally alive, equally real.
We say you never live totally alone. We’ve spoken of this at other times, but it is important that you also accept even without concrete evidence that there are knowing life-forms, forms of energy that know of a Spirit Center, a Creator whose energies are working in consonance with yours. Some of the synchronicities of life that you experience are not coincidences. They may not have originated specifically from us, and yet they do originate from spiritual life-forms, knowing life-forms, positive and affirmative life-forms, loving life-forms that are outside of your physical capability of experiencing directly and knowingly.
Human life belongs to a many-layered web of interconnections. We’ve spoken of your interconnections with other human beings often, but these interconnections are also part of your life communicating with other knowing and loving life-forms. It is important for each of you to proceed through your lives welcoming the mystery of what is not known, embracing that mystery, acknowledging what is not in your understanding, and yet having full confidence in the benefits that are received by your own souls from these many sources. The sense of spiritual life is an understanding that there are not two poles of existence, the human life and the spiritual life that we experience on our side. There are not two distinct life-forms that know of a Creator. There are many, and all are connected. We serve as your guides, but we are also communicating with these other forms of life, for they, too, belong to God’s creation. They occupy an important place at the table of all that is.
Thinking that human beings are the only life-forms that know of or speculate about a Spirit Center, a Creator, is a kind of arrogance that says in effect, you are special because you know something of Spirit. The truth is you are one of many energy-forms that know of Spirit, that have an understanding, though not complete, of that creative life force that you refer to as God. You communicate with us through prayer. You don’t communicate consciously with these other life-forms because you know very little about them.
The scriptures of the sacred religions of the world write little about the reality of Spirit beyond the axis of human life and God. Your lives, therefore, are not one end of a single spectrum of spiritual development. Your lives are part of an interconnected web of enormous strength. It is this incomprehensible web of connectedness that points to the reality of your concerns being only momentary. They are a speck on a giant globe of knowing life-forms.
These moments belong because they are on that globe, they are part of what comprises this globe. They indeed create pain, anxiety, worry, fear of loss, anger, and jealousy. But those responses, while seemingly important because they are seen in the now, are much less significant when you consider that you are being uplifted by this magnificent spiritual tapestry where all these threads belong, where all these forms of life have purpose, and where each of you can acknowledge that you have an impact on and are being impacted by all else that exists on the surface of this globe of spirit. The Spirit Center, this force of creation, is what gives all on the surface of the globe a sense of place, a sense of belonging, and it is that Spirit Center, God, that provides the energy that allows this communication between and among all life-forms, all knowing life entities.
You are part of a significant and growing spiritual reality, filled with change, filled with colors, that testify to the transformations that are taking place now, in all ways, in all times. You are blessed in that transformation that you are participants in, and your lives are given grace through these threads of communication. Find peace in the acknowledgment that you are not alone, find hope through the realization that all is ultimately moving with a gravitational force toward the Spirit Center. You belong. All belong. All are one in Spirit.
Amen.
