• The unity of everything

• There is no new creation, only changes in energy

All of us for whom you have prayed, as well as your own guides, join you at this time as you seek a closer relationship with God. It is a large assembly we have here. The souls of all for whom you pray, even the souls who still inhabit human form, join us. This may seem a bit odd to consider the presence of a soul who is connected to a physical body as being present in this gathering, for humans imagine space and location with limits. But for the soul, there is no limit, there is no order that identifies the location, there is nothing that can restrict the soul from being anywhere and everywhere.

The soul may be likened to a powerful lamp that radiates light in all directions. This brilliance, this light, is evident no matter where one is located. If you sit in a corner, you are aware of the light. If you sit far away in another direction, the light may still be recognized. The light exists, it has properties of warmth and brilliance, but it is also everywhere at the same time.

So it is with your souls. Your souls are capable of inhabiting a human body while simultaneously being present elsewhere. Your souls are a kind of energy, and energy always expands outward. It does not move inward. The radiation of your soul’s light moves everywhere that you are located, but also can be seen and sensed by all other souls wherever they are located. When you pray for one who is suffering with pain or great anxiety, you are really increasing the radiation of the light from your own soul so it may touch another. Your soul then is found in the presence of another. There is really no place that is not illuminated by spiritual light. The lumination, the brilliance, the light is constantly present.

When you pray for another, you join with that soul. Your soul’s brilliance does not radiate out at enormous distances across the globe to someone who is far away, for all souls are really united. They are no further away than the individual who is closest to you. There is no distance between the soul of someone living in Japan and the soul of someone living in the United States. They occupy the same space. They form components of the same field of energy, an energy of love, of brilliance, of reflection of God’s light. So all are really united.

When we tell you at the beginning of your meetings together that the souls of all for whom you pray are with you, we share this with you to clarify their presence, but this does not mean that other souls are excluded, for in fact you are joined by the souls of all who have lived and of all who shall live. The drop of water in the ocean is really a part of the entirety of that ocean, and so it is with your souls. The unity of all spirit is undeniably complete. Everything you do, everything you say, everything you think is reflected by your souls in ripples outward. We speak of rippling outward because it helps you to understand the effect that one soul has on all souls, but we do not imply this outward ripple as meaning a direction away from where you are, for you are all together. There is no away.

This is a difficult concept for anyone to understand for you are locked into a vision of the world that contains defined space. You go from one point to another. You are crossing a space. You are traversing in time, as you perceive it. We have said on numerous occasions that really there is no such thing as time. Likewise, there is no such thing as space, for space implies distance and distance carries with it the implication of time. You cannot have space without having time. As there is no time, there is no need for space, for all is a single unit, infinitely small and infinitely large at the same time.

This is why you are instructed so often to recognize the unity of all souls, the unity of all people, the unity of all nations and philosophies, the unity of all that has been created, for everything that has been created and everything that will be created in physical form is the same thing. It is a single unit. So in a sense one can say there is no creation because creation implies something new. Having something new implies being somehow different from what exists prior to that creation, and since all is a single unit, really there is no creation. There is only change, and all that is to be created already exists. What changes is energy. It is a shift. It is not a new item, it is not a new entity that is created. When you die your bodies change their composition, but a component of what makes up your bodies remains constant. They are still existent. They may be changed in form, but they are not lost, and by the same token, are not created.

Life really is a recognition of a change in what has been created. One grows up, matures, dies, changes energy, changes form, but is still the same. The soul in you is permanent for it remains a constant. It has characteristics which remain the same. It evolves, but its basic characteristics are unchanged, for those characteristics include the capacity for love, the capacity for loving, the capacity to give joy. That doesn’t change, only how it is expressed, only the form of that love, the form of that capacity is altered. When you see the change that takes place in another, you are recognizing indeed a change. You are not recognizing a new entity.

Life, then, is really unending. If you can accept the constancy, the permanence of life, the permanence of the spiritual self, then the changes that you recognize become relatively unimportant. When illness is experienced and that illness results in death, it is merely a change. It is not a termination. Your lives are part of this constancy of the unity of God’s creation. If you can see your lives as part of this unity, you will sense the spiritual brilliance of all others. You will accept the impermanence of what it is you currently observe, and you will recognize the permanence which is the essence of life. God created the spiritual union, but the particles of that spiritual union are independent and evolve as they are to evolve. All of humanity that has existed is merely the evolution of those particles of the total union.

These concepts are difficult to understand when you are limited by the perception of your senses, but if you can accept the idea of a complete total union where there is no time, no space, you will begin to change the way you view life. You will cherish all that is a part of life—the good and the bad, the joyous and the sad, the rejoicing and the mourning—for all of this is just a recognition of the changes that take place, the changes in energy, the changes in the manifestation of the spiritual union.

Life is indeed to be lived, to be appreciated, to be used for growth and development. You should seek out those changes, even the painful ones, for they remind you of what is really permanent, for you are forced to seek a grounding in what is stable when all around you seems to be moving. Your stability, your sense of purpose, your sense of God is enhanced and strengthened and given vision because of your recognition of change. It is easy to regret when there is change, for one misses what was present and visible by the senses before the change. By concentrating on the constancy of life, those regrets, those concerns, the mourning can be reduced. We do not ask you to ignore those changes or to pretend that they have not taken place, but rather to accept them and to embrace them as a part of the unity that God has created.

From our perspective—and we are not far from you, we are next to you, we are inside you—we are aware of those changes, but we are also aware of what is constant, for we live in the flow of all that is constant. We live in touch with the spiritual unity that has been created. We see the light of that unity, we see the vibration of those lights, we know the energy that is present, and we feel a part of that energy. When the time comes that you join us, it will seem so simple, but for now you must take what is shared with you through faith, trying to apply this perspective that is being prescribed to your own activities in human form.

You are indeed blessed by such knowledge, but it is for you to live with that understanding, for it is through the living with this understanding that you enhance all others and reinforce that sense of unity. Such recognition renders strife meaningless. You can’t fight what it is that is you. You cannot destroy something which is really you. You cannot take arms against someone else who is really you, for that other person shares the same place in creation that you experience.

The world is going through great turmoil, but you must remember the world has always gone through great turmoil. It is the struggle that is necessary in human life to ultimately recognize its futility, eventually leading to an awareness of the value of love, for love is merely the recognition and acceptance of everything that belongs to who you are. It is a recognition that there is no such thing as another. There is only you. It is you that you experience, but you are a part of that single entity. Change your perception of life, your perception of friends and neighbors and colleagues to reflect your understanding of this absolute unity—unity with the spiritual side, unity with the human side. There is really no difference. We are all truly one.

When we bless you with that oneness, we bless you with that unity of light, that flow of energy that is the creation of God, and we rejoice in your openness and willingness to join in this union when you are gathered in such a group.
