• The unity of All That Is

• Prayer impacts All That Is

• The power of prayer comes not from words but intention

God, who is the Center of all that exists, embraces each of you and embraces virtually everything that has been created.

You ask about those for whom you pray, the ones who have joined us, specifically your recently departed friend. We can reveal to you that her transition was quick, enormously joyous, and filled with incredible peace. She feels your love, she feels your presence, and she is present to all. The last message we shared about the concept of circles was offered with her presence.

When you hear your guides, you are hearing a distillation, a condensing, of what is offered by all guides who are engaged with your spiritual development. We could say that your individual development as spirit entities is influenced in its own way by the presence of all spirits. The guidance each of you receives comes from the energy of All That Is.

You are guided by those who share human life through their prayers. You are guided by us through your light. You are guided by the wisdom of the stones. You are guided by the vision of trees. You are guided by the energy of the smallest creature, the tiniest particle, the largest entity in your solar system, the largest entity in the universe. You are guided by the universe, and you are guided by countless universes.

The guidance of which we speak is not the guidance of specific words but a guidance that reflects Center, that reflects being centered, that reflects what you know to be in the best interests of all. The guidance as you experience it in this group is experienced through a small, still voice inside, but the voice that is sensed and is translated into the words you hear and read is merely a combination of all the guidance that exists.

We speak so often in terms of the sea and the drop of water in that sea. That drop of water that you identify as a drop is indistinguishable from the rest of the water that surrounds it. The drop is an identity of sorts, but it is merely the smallest component of a reality that has no boundaries and therefore no individual identity.

Human life is really a life without separation, without boundaries. You are indistinguishable in any significant way from your neighbor. You are indistinguishable from a sibling or a parent or a child. You are indistinguishable from other ethnic groups, other nationalities, other religious beliefs. You are indistinguishable from those who suffer and those who rejoice. You are indistinguishable from those who are sick and those who are healthy. That drop in the water is in reality you as a part of all that is created.

In fundamental ways you are no different from the green plant that rests at your feet. Each of you is impacted by the air you breathe, by the light that surrounds you, by the temperature of your environment, by your interaction with all that is nearby. You’re influenced by the politics of life on the other side of the planet, but that plant is also influenced by the politics of life elsewhere, for part of that politics has a direct impact on the environment, and the environment is not something merely local. It is universal. So in very significant ways you are not unlike the plant. You are not unlike the stone in the street, for that stone has a history that actually long predates your presence as a human being. That stone is the result of what was alive as you define life, but that stone also has a life of its own. There is an activity within the stone. There is a molecular energy within the stone. There is the response of that stone to the environment. When it rains, when it is sunny, when it is cold, when it is hot, when it is wet, when it is dry, when it is under pressure, when it is free—everything responds, everything.

So you all are a single entity. In the same perspective, you and we, your guides, the collection of spirits, are the same entity. We wear different “clothes” so to speak. We speak a different language. We have a different kind of presence, but we are really undifferentiated, indistinguishable one from another.

When you have a family member on a road, the same road that you occupy, and that individual is currently several miles away, you are not in different places. You are both on the road. You are both on the surface of the earth. You are both occupying a point on a planet that is less than a mere speck in the totality of All That Exists. How can you possibly think that you are in different places? The differences in personalities, the differences in interests, the differences in the kind of life that is lived are so miniscule that they become totally meaningless.

You are aware of what seem to be differences between you, but our spiritual plane of life has been stripped of those visual differences, and we become aware only of our really being a part of the same entity. We are each a part of God, but you, who belong to this complete unity, are equally a part of God, for there is nothing substantial that distinguishes us from you. There is no distinction between those of us who are with you now and others for whom your prayers are offered who are also with us. The spirit, the soul, of every human being who has ever existed is part of the spiritual energy from which your guides draw wisdom and share with you. So your guides are not separated from the spiritual reality of every human who has ever existed and who will exist.

When you pray for those whom you love, you are acknowledging your connection to us. You are acknowledging your connection to those who have joined us. You’re not establishing a connection that otherwise would not exist. Rather, you are recognizing what is already there. Praying for those who have joined us is a way of praying for everyone. When you pray that a loved one will continue to emerge into Light, you are really praying that all in existence may emerge into Light, for if you are heating that drop of water and placing it into the sea, the water around it will then be impacted, so what you give to the drop of water, you give to the sea.

When you give loving energy to humanity, you are giving that same loving energy to creation. It certainly serves great purpose when you direct your prayers to particular spirits whom you have known, for you are acknowledging that there is an existence beyond your vision. But all that you pray for on behalf of another is sent out for the benefit of All That Is. When you generate the energy of Light, that Light radiates in every direction, and that Light illuminates, and when illumination takes place, vision is increased, and as vision is increased, knowledge of what is also increases. So all that you pray for ultimately impacts All That Is.

You wonder about praying for peace and how we benefit. It is very simple, for when you pray for peace, you pray for an energy of understanding and acceptance and tolerance. That energy of acceptance and tolerance, love, is what we live with and for, and when we see such energy being transformed and broadened, it actually is helping all that we do, and it enhances all that we are, in turn strengthening the reality of God in a global sense.

We speak of light traveling in all directions. Theoretically, particles of light have direction from the source to wherever that particle may ultimately reach. It may seem an individual particle travels in a straight line, for human beings may measure that light as a straight line. But that line is not straight, for it is impacted by your sense of time. In actuality, there is no straight line where a particle begins its journey and where it ends. But because of your place within the universe, it appears to be straight. There is no pressing need to discuss the details of particle theory, but you must draw from this precisely what we underscored previously that what you see is not necessarily what is there. It is not necessarily what is real, and it definitely is not the complete picture.

You pray for your friend, you pray for others whom you know, and you are in fact praying in a way that benefits not just her, but benefits all. What is so important is that you pray. The power of prayer comes not from the words but from the intention, and when you pray for another, you may feel you are praying for the benefit of another, but the real intention is one of acknowledging the reality of a different form of life and a different manifestation of love, of spirit, of soul.

Use your lives in such ways that affirm the unity of which we speak. Dedicate yourselves to what unites you and shun efforts that emphasize your differences. In so doing, you are acknowledging the reality of the complete unity of all—what you see in human form, what you don’t see in spirit, what you know through formal knowledge, and what you don’t know for lack of vision.

We pray for you, not because of who you are but because you are part of All That Is, and we pray for All That Is, that the energy of love and peace may finally prevail.
