Inspired Wisdom For Your Life

• The relationship between you, guides, and God

• God is within everyone

• What you do to another you do to God

The presence, the light, the life that is the reality of God is brought to your awareness through the light that exists within you. There is a communication of sorts that takes place between a loving heart and the light that is God.

The guides who accompany all on their life journeys serve to focus the light that is God’s upon your loving soul. Your guides, however, are not an intermediary or approving or judging layer that stands between you and the ultimate Spirit Center. There is, in fact, nothing that stands between you and God. Rather, where you stand is not in isolation. You are not alone. You stand with your guides, and it is your guides who help open your heart vision so that you can more clearly feel God’s presence.

So often the human experience has been one of setting God on such a high pedestal or throne that there is no direct connection with the human experience, and therefore it is often felt there must be a presence in between that speaks or assists in some way on your behalf. When you pray to God, you are not praying to your guides who forward the intent of that prayer to God. There is no intervening stage that must be worked with as one reaches out to God. Your connection to the Spirit Center, to God is direct, immediate, and unimpeded. Your guides stand with you, not between you and God. Just as in a closely knit family, there is a possibility and practice of direct dialog between child and parents. Therefore, when you pray to God, you are praying to God directly. The vision, the heart vision, you can experience of the Center of All Creation is a direct vision.

It is true, the impact of God is often and poignantly experienced through the actions of others and through your actions directed toward others. Human beings often serve as the heart of God, but that is not God working specifically through another but working with another. When you reach out to others with a loving heart, your presence is God’s presence, but in a way, you are a catalyst. You are not the source. You are working with God. God is not needing you in order to have any impact on creation. We can, of course, say in a manner of speaking that God works through you, but you might understand it more completely by saying that God works through your help, through your participation, through your presence, but you are not the only window that is available for God’s light to permeate all.

The power of love that is God exists even when you are unaware of that presence, but your conscious effort to work with God expands your own spiritual essence. It is the expansion we discussed earlier, and it is with your participation, with your commitment to reach out as a reflection of God’s presence that you have become in your way a transmitter of God’s light, of God’s love.

We say you exist because God exists, and that is because your life is a creation of God. We say that God exists because you exist because evidence of God’s presence is felt through your presence. It does not mean that if you were not present, there would be no presence of God. You amplify. You help to make personal God’s presence, but that presence exists whether or not you are aware of it, and that presence gives strength whether or not you think of God.

Our relationship to you and to God is much the same. We reflect God. We help to focus that presence upon your life, but that presence exists and offers all that is needed if we were somehow not present. Of course, the truth is we are always present, but God’s presence can be seen as being enhanced, as being personalized, as being directed in some way or another through our accompanying you on your journey. God has a direct connection to you just as you have a direct connection to God.

In the process of human history, there have been many efforts to support claims that God only works through specific institutions, specific collections of believers. The truth is there is no intermediate stage between you and God. This direct channel between you and the Spirit Center is sacred, is constant, and is always benefitting spiritual growth toward a state of pure love.

We have spoken occasionally of knowing life-forms that are close to you, that are not necessarily in some other physical universe. These knowing life-forms often serve the function of opening your heart vision. They do not stand between you and God, but they facilitate your vision from the heart. They help provide context in understanding what it means to be the hands and heart of God. Those knowing beings are as we are and as you are progressing in individual pathways toward the state of becoming all love.

No human being is fully alone, although loneliness is at times experienced by all. Loneliness is a feeling. It is not an actual state of being. You can feel isolated within a group. You can feel alone among many. In that same way, you may feel loneliness, and yet you are always accompanied by your guides, by other knowing life-forms, by the loving presence that is God.

One who does not enjoy human vision does not live in total darkness, for even when no light is seen, the light is everywhere. This reality is the same for everyone.

We are fully aware of the often deep pain that you feel concerning the direction your own society seems to be pursuing, and it is easy in your agony, in your frustrations to feel that you are alone to the extent that you believe there is little you can do to rectify what you feel needs a course correction. It is in moments such as you are experiencing that you are also being guided. You are also given strength by your guides. That guidance and strength does not mean that all will be resolved within a timeframe that you prescribe, but you can be fully certain that your efforts to enhance human dignity, the equality of all, and the unity of all are never wasted, and all will eventually find a pathway illuminated by love.

No, you are not ever alone. Yes, you may feel that way. But you are part of this wave of growth, this wave of becoming more loving, and it will find its way to the calm shore.

Your life is ultimately about the seeking. Life is not about knowing but rather searching and growing. When we consider what knowing really means, it is clear that no one has full, total knowledge about anything. You grow through your searching. You grow through your flexibility. You grow when you acknowledge that a course correction is needed. You grow and expand when you see God in others and when you acknowledge the God that resides within.

Your communication with the God you seek is best understood as a communication with the true God that lies within everyone. God is not on a pedestal. You are not reaching for a figure that is beyond your grasp, but rather you are asked to listen, to be open to the God that lies within. We are encouraging you to truly acknowledge that there is an element of the sacredness that belongs to all, and your seeking through your heart vision is to understand the God within.

For so many years, God has been portrayed as being in heaven above, as being beyond the reach, as someone you pray to at a distance hoping that that Spirit Center will hear your plea. The proof of God is not a view of the pedestal but an embrace of what belongs to every person. We say everyone is God, godly, or a part of God. Such statements are an affirmation of reality because God is within you. God is within everyone, and when you see God in the actions of another, it is because God resides in another just as God resides within you. We always urge you to be nonjudgmental of others for the clear reason that if you truly judge another, you are judging God.

Your challenge in human life is to be loving towards others because you are then being loving towards God. The most difficult challenge may be to be truly loving towards self, but you are every bit as much a container of God’s light as anyone else, and by loving oneself, by trusting oneself, you are loving God. When you communicate honestly with self through love, you are communicating with God, and the sacredness that resides within will guide you always, and will illuminate your path to becoming love.

Embrace the God within. Embrace the God in everyone. In so doing, you will truly see the heart of God.

Amen.
