Peace is the affirmation of equality.
July 13, 2025
Peace is a byproduct of feeling loved. It is a feeling that is achieved not by being told but rather by being shown. When you work to affirm the dignity of others, you are a catalyst for peace. When you listen to another nonjudgmentally, you are a catalyst for peace. When you devote your life to the growth of others, the affirmation of others, the health and well-being of others, you are working for peace. Achieving peace is only possible when approached from many pathways, some of which may appear on the surface to have nothing to do with the peace that you seek.
Peace is not the absence of war but the affirmation of equality. When there is an affirmation of equality, there are no grounds for war. You are, therefore, working not for the elimination of war but for the affirmation of all. War ceases to have any function when that affirmation becomes widespread.
