Prayer increases light of others.

If another prays for your strength, you are given spiritual strength. But if you, the receiver of that prayer, do not feel connected to your soul, you will not feel the strength that is the response to prayer. By increasing your efforts to know your soul, you are increasing your ability to be strengthened through prayer. Have faith in that recognition of your spirit. Have faith in your ability to increase the loving light visible in the world of spirit. Have faith in your ability to increase the loving light of other souls as a result of your prayers.
