All that is in the world is worth caring for.

The Light of God, the love of God, the energy of God is with each of you. It is ultimately the only truth that matters: God is. God is because it is only with that truth that human life, indeed all life, is justified.
There is no life that is meaningless. There is nothing that has been created that is without meaning. If there were no God, if it were just biological evolution that led to human beings, the plants and animals that you see, the minerals that you are aware of, what would its purpose be? What would the purpose of human life be if there were no connection to the reality of God? You would then be just the consequences of chemical, biological, and physical events with no meaning, and with no meaning, no order. With no order, only chaos. The fact that you exist as a human being in itself is evidence of God’s presence.
It is true the earth was not created in seven days, and yet as a way of condensing an understanding that life did have a beginning, it serves a purpose. The scientific exploration of the growth of organisms throughout the millennia, the transformations of one form of life into another, are in fact a reality, but such transformations without God are meaningless. If there is no purpose or meaning, then why does anything exist? There must be an energy that generates all that is required for the creation of life-forms.
God is. In those two words the totality of all that exists is contained. You are a part of that totality. You are a part of that evolution, that direction that heads toward a kind of organism that is capable of contemplating, “Why is there life? Why do I exist, and what do I do with the knowledge that I exist?”
You search for evidence of God. All humans throughout their development have tried to understand, “Why? What am I here for? What do I do? Why is there life?”
When you carefully consider such basic questions, there is only one answer, and it is not because of a coincidental merging of biological entities. Why do you exist? Because God is. Without God, there is no purpose, no energy that has accumulated to create what you are and what you perceive yourselves to be.
Human life is only part of the journey. Human life has evolved over countless years, as you measure them. The human being that you know is not the human being of the beginning of an upright species. The human being you are is not the final manifestation of your march through creation. You and all human beings have evolved, but that evolution has not stopped. You are but a speck of an instant on the evolution of your form of life.
The question was raised about reincarnation, about life before the life you currently perceive. We can say that each of you gathered has existed in human form before. We can also say that each of you has existed in a different energy form prior to your human lives. You are on a continuum, and that continuum does not suddenly exist and then equally suddenly disappear. Your existence continues because that is the nature of who you are.
There is no specific number of human lives that one normally lives before becoming the energy of pure love. There are some human beings who are very early in their evolution as spiritual beings, but there is no way to state that there is a discreet number of human lives that must be experienced. What is important is what is learned, but you also entered your current human life with past experiences, past learnings. Some of those learnings were from human experience and some from nonhuman experience.
You grow in spirit. Your soul evolves. Every soul is different. The needs of every soul are different, and for some souls, the needs are met in multiple human lives. For other souls, it is in multiple nonhuman lives primarily. There is, therefore, no way to state that you reincarnate at all or that you reincarnate for a specific number of life experiences. What is true, however, is that you continue to grow.
We can say with absolute truth that for each of you, when you have completed this human journey, you will continue to grow in spirit. You will continue to have a consciousness. You will continue to be aware of the presence of others. You will continue to learn more powerfully the impact of what it means to be loving. Some of that learning may be in additional human life. Some of that learning may take place in nonhuman life.
We who are your guides also evolve in stages. When we grow, when we become more perfectly loving, we are given more opportunities to learn what must be learned to become all love. An important component to what we must learn is to abandon the sense of self, for when every soul no longer is aware of self, there is only an awareness of totality, a totality of love, the unrestricted, unrestrained expression, feeling, exercising of a loving connection to virtually all that is. It is then at that time that we are lost to ourselves and totally contained within the reality of that force, that light that you call God. Everything that is created, human or nonhuman, ultimately becomes a component of that absolute love, what you call God.
God is and always has been present. There was no Big Bang for God, for God has always been. That presence, that love, that unifying identification with all, has always been. It can’t be said that from the beginning there was God because that implies that there was a beginning and that there was, by definition, a moment before the existence of God. It is for that reason that the most crucial truth is “God is.”
It can be said that “God is, and therefore you are,” but it can also be said that “you are, and therefore God is.” This is said to give you further insight into what those two statements mean. That first statement, “God is,” is central to giving a sense of meaning, a sense of purpose to your own life. It is also a way of giving a sense of connection to the world that you know.
You hear so much discussion about the environment and caring for the earth. There is great wisdom to that, for in recognizing the necessity of caring for your world, you are acknowledging that all that is in the world, animate and inanimate, is worth caring for. That sense of trying to reach out to life around you with care is a recognition on your part that there is something about life that exceeds your own human existence.
You are but a point on an infinitely large circle. You evolve. The circle expands, but the circle is never broken. Being part of that circle of all that is means that you belong to all that create that circle. The connection that you feel toward others is a connection of the circle. A circle is used as an example for it does not contain a beginning point. You may think of that circle as all that God is and all that God has created. You may think of that circle as God. You are evolving on the circle of God. There is no beginning of that evolution. The only end is your awareness of the totality and inclusiveness of that circle on which you belong.
Life is sacred. Human lives are sacred because of what they hold within them as evidence of God. You are the hands, feet, eyes, and heart of God, for you belong on that circle. You are part of that circle, but no one is the entirety of that circle. The circle expands far beyond your place, but without your place, there is a breach. The circle then has a beginning and an end. It is because of you and all human beings that the circle that is God, the circle that is God’s creation, has no beginning and no end. It is constantly evolving and growing. It is constantly becoming an energy form that is pure love.
There is no time when all that has been created now becomes pure love, for that would be the end of what God has created. That would be the end of the circle, and there would be no circle.
Some human beings have a sense of being in more than one location on the circle. Most have no sense of other placements in that creation. It is not so important to know the details of previous human experiences, but it is important to recognize that what you bring to your current life is not just a product of your own experiences that you currently work through. You are the consequence of all experiences of the soul. Those consequences result from human and nonhuman life. There are other places on this infinite circle.
As long as you perceive your life as evolving through a series of lives and continuing in a series of lives, human or otherwise, then you can feel there is a sense of growth that you are participating in. That is the growth of spirit. That is the growth of love in all its manifestations.
Human life in all of its shapes and forms and the many characters in which it is manifested is always sacred, and it is the sacredness of life that is the real source of the greatest joy. It is the acknowledgment of that sacredness that affirms the purpose, the “why” of your lives, that can only be answered by “God is.”
You are blessed. You are sacred. You are given meaning because God is. Rejoice and be peaceful.
Amen.
