Fear is not reflective of God.

God blesses your lives with a loving warmth and a blinding radiance that can only be seen with the heart. There is no way that any soul can see the full radiance that is the God of all. We do not see all of God’s light, but we feel it. Its presence is known by us through its warmth, through its healing, through its love. You are all a part of that blinding radiance, for God is not just an external construct, an explanation, a basis for what is not understood. God is a collection of all that is. As a consequence, God is you and you and you. Each of you forms a part of what God is.
It is because of that reality that any kind of judgment is really meaningless, whether it is judgment against another, or judgment directed toward yourself. Since all human beings belong to what God actually is, judging another is the same hypocrisy as judging God. You are asked not to judge but to embrace, to welcome, to uplift. That is your charge. That is our charge as well, for what we teach you, we also respond with. We teach you the value of compassion, but we are also to be compassionate. We teach you to be loving, and we are also loving in our own way toward each other, toward you, loving toward all that exists, be it animate or not.
There is a great order, a great balance that we sense from our side of the spirit domain. We see order as it is, we see order as it can be. You pray for wholeness, you seek wholeness. You seek help, you seek health. We also seek the same things. We are no longer in human form, but we share common origins, common paths, common destinations. You pray for peace; we work for peace. You pray for healing; we work for healing. You pray for love; we work for love. You pray for compassion; we work for compassion. All that you pray for in the highest order of your awareness, we also share.
There are many ways in which you and we are no different. You seek love; we seek love. We see love. We are becoming love, but each of you, too, is becoming love. You look for ways that benefit many, and we work for ways that benefit all. You must not think that your guides are in any significant way different. It is true, we no longer occupy a physical shell, but we still live. We still breathe, not with lungs but with love. We breathe with energy. We breathe with a kind of optimism, a belief that what is good is lasting, for we see the lasting benefit of all that is good.
Your lives and our lives both exist in the same space. In a way, your lives may be likened to a staircase. You are a step on a staircase and we are a step on a staircase. But you and we both exist on the same staircase. The staircase has a beginning and an end. The staircase has a very specific goal. If you climb the stairs, you reach the top. You don’t just reach a diverted plane—you get to the top. Some climb the stairs quickly because they are strengthened in spirit. Others take more time, as you call it, for they must be strengthened first, but the direction of those stairs, the position at the top, is never in question. How you get to the top is your own path. Perhaps you climb the first few steps and decide to rest and observe and absorb, learn, and eventually it becomes clear to you that you are ready for the next level and so it happens, you are brought to a new level. Your search for spirit is a search for the next level in the faith that each time you search, you move upward one step.
Human lives and spirit lives share the same staircase. No step is more valuable than another. Rather, each step becomes equally important. The step that you call human life is no less important than that spiritual plane or level that we occupy. Ours is equally important as yours, but as we move through the staircase, the vision becomes clearer. We see patterns emerging, tendencies, energies being directed here and there. Our view is broader, but our eyes are no better than yours. We see what we see in spirit because of where we are on the staircase.
Several of you experience questions about the nature of your national leadership. Is your current president a kind of “chosen one,” a “savior,” someone who “points the way?” We can say with great clarity of vision that he holds the potential for great wisdom and great vision. Is he the chosen one? No one is the chosen one, but he learns from his vision, just as you learn from your vision, the difference being that the actions he can take are in their own way more influential than your own individual actions. This does not mean that his leadership is more important, for there are many ways to lead. Some lead nations, others communities, still others families, but every individual has the potential of leading his or her own personal life. This fact is obvious to everyone, but it is important to recognize that there is much that you can do through prayer, through your presence, through your own activities to raise the human condition among those around you. Such a calling is no less significant than the calling of a national leader. It is merely a different playing field.
You look to national leaders to lead by example. How often do you forget that you as individuals hold the ability also to lead by example? It is how you live, it is the decisions you make based on the beliefs that you have which are the examples that characterize your own leadership. Those characteristics are the same for all leaders.
The United States is in a very critical position in its development of direction, in its development of commitment. You may have a leader with many admirable traits and a perspective that holds great promise, but such potentials are only realized based on what individuals such as you bring to matters of shared importance. You have a new opportunity to learn about the world and to respond to the world in different fashion. Whether such differences occur or not depends as much on you as a multitude of individuals as it depends on an individual leader. What is leadership other than the demonstration of potential? Leadership is not about making single decisions. It is about the bringing together of many for the benefit of all.
A question was raised about the existence of other beings who are capable of connecting human beings to a deeper understanding of themselves. The presence of such entities is indeed a reality. You are all blessed with the capability of learning from many sources, for there are many forms of energy that exist. You can choose to be drawn toward one type of energy, one expression of energy, or another. That is the choice that you have. It is also your choice to be sensitive to more than one energy field. Human beings have the capability of being strengthened and deepened and enriched from many sources. It is also possible to choose to be influenced by energies that are not positive. All energies coming from God are positive. There is no direction of energy coming from God that leads to pain, suffering and loss. You should seek those sources of energy that bring you peace, that renew your commitment to others. If you are drawn to an energy that is focused on your own advancement only, that is not an energy field that you should follow.
If you wonder whose lives are more beneficial, look to those who serve others. That is where the love resides. If you devote your lives to strengthening your own nest at the expense of others, you will soon build a barrier that separates you from all others. Living a life of barriers does not follow the wishes of a God that is the purest form of love. Devoting your life to strengthening and enhancing others is a life whose ultimate value cannot be questioned. If you are becoming loving, it is not because you are selfabsorbed. It is because you are absorbed in the lives of others.
Therefore, seek those opportunities to uplift and affirm. Seek every opportunity that leads to balance. Seek every opportunity that leads to understanding. Seek opportunities that strengthen and not destroy. Seek opportunities that build trust, not competition. Seek all opportunities that reflect your understanding of what it means to be loving, and you will never be disappointed. Seek opportunities to connect with spirits who are devoted to what is for the benefit of all. You know when you are in the presence of one who has no interest in you, but has interest only in the self. Acknowledge the value of that person, but do not emulate that sense of self, self, self.
It is true, there are souls who have difficulty accepting their new lives in a purely spiritual form, and who for one reason or another wish to attach themselves to those who are still experiencing human life. When that happens, you are aware of a change in energy. You are aware of an increase in negativity. You are aware of the sense of being pulled down. But you also are aware of a means of casting off that negative mantle by praying for healing, not your own healing, but the healing of the negative energy that surrounds you. Any time you feel overwhelmed by fear, cast it away, for such is not reflective of God’s presence. Acknowledge it and let it go. Your burden will be lightened and your path made clear.
Rejoice in the understandings you have and constantly seek opportunities for balance in your own lives. When you find worry, seek joy. When you find anger, seek love. Turn your eyes to the Light and be guided always by a faith in its constancy. You are loved, and that is all that matters. Be blessed in that Love!
Amen.
