Spirit is eternal.

November 9, 2021

God’s presence is with all whom you surround with your thoughts. God’s presence is undeniable in its reality. God’s presence, although undeniable, is so often unrecognized, and yet that lack of recognition in no way diminishes the impact of that spiritual strength nor does it diminish our efforts to provide peace and warmth and a true experience of the most profound love.

The question was raised about the beginning of your lives as humans, beginning of the life of spirit. What is the beginning? How can it be defined, and based on that definition, is there indeed a beginning?

We would like to say at the outset that your spiritual center, your soul, your spirit entity, has no specific beginning point, but that is not to say that there are no beginnings. We have shared in the past the reality that a life of spirit is a kind of energy-form. Human life and the spiritual connection to human life is one type of energy. The Spirit Center that you refer to as God and that we refer to as God is a different kind of energy, and yet your spiritual energy-forms belong to that Spirit Center.

When you think of a beginning, you think of a point when something that did not exist now exists. From our perspectives and understandings, we see the truth that what you perceive to be beginnings are actually transformations. The forms of energy that are identified as your spirit center have been transformed. They have gone through an evolution of sorts, but the energy that created that transformation existed prior to the form that exists now and is part of the form that exists now.

If you pour dyes into water, the characteristics of that water may change because of the chemical makeups of those additives, but the water is still the water. It may not be clear. It may be green or red or blue or yellow. It may be a form of moisture, of fog, of rain or snow or ice, but its essential component is the same. As you would say, it is all just different forms of water. There are times when the rain begins, but the water existed in the seas before it fell from the sky above. The form of that water, the kind of energy that is included in that water, has changed, so one can say there is a beginning to the rain. There is a beginning to the snow. There is a beginning to the fog, the mist, but that energy existed beforehand. This is in other views, that being the spirit, precisely what happens to the evolution of spirit, to the evolution of soul.

You pray for those who are approaching transition to a fully spiritual form of existence. The spirit existed before human life. The spirit will exist after human life. The spirit has an identity, but that identity evolves as well. You are the same person you were at the moment of birth, but you appear differently. You have different understandings. You are a very different force of energy than you were at birth, but you are the same. The energy you bring to human life is the same energy in a different manifestation that was with you in prior lives, human or otherwise.

As we have said in the past, human life is not the only form of existence that is aware of God. It is the only form that you are aware of, but there are other knowing lifeforms, other kinds of energy that in their own existence feel a connection to their Source just as at times you feel a connection to your Source. The energy of spirit, however it is manifested, emanates from the same Source. It is part of what has always been God. It is merely a portion of God that is sent forth and evolves and changes and becomes, and in the becoming, returns to the Spirit Center only to be reenergized, in a way being recreated. It's not a new creation but it is a transformation.

Your soul, your spirit energy, has existed always. There was no beginning, for the energy that is your spirit belongs to the energy that has been in the eternal God. This also means you have no end point where you cease to exist. There will be countless times when your spirit energy finds opportunities to be transformed, when your spirit entity gains in its capacity to become only love. It is at that point in its growth when it is entirely love that it is entirely incorporated into the totality of love that is God, and it is from that totality of all that become love that new transformations of spirit evolve and expand and become, and the cycle is repeated.

Human life, as you recognize the characteristics of such life, is only a small portion of what God has transformed. There will come a point when no human life in the form you recognize exists, but out of human life evolves more life. The spirit presence that is in human life becomes transformed into a spirit presence in a different manifestation. It is not so difficult to imagine that human life, the existence of such beings, has an end just as it has a beginning. There is no life-form in material terms that is absolutely permanent. All that exists is in a state of growth. All that is in existence evolves, changes. You may burn wood, and the wood is no longer seen as wood, but what is released in the burning of the wood is part of what had made up that wood, and it becomes something else but it still exists.

So it is with human beings. So it is with all forms of life that you experience in your current existence. There is no plant, no animal, no kind of vegetation that will continue unchanging, for the very nature of existence is the process of change, of adaptation, of transformation from one kind of energy to another. Nothing that exists is static. All go through transformations.

The presence of God’s spiritual energy is not static. One cannot, so to speak, draw a circle around God and say everything within the circle is God and yet everything outside that circle is not. What you perceive and call God is indeed a dynamic energy of love from which all evolve and to which all ultimately return to be then strengthened and sent forth. Your experience of life and the experience of the end of human life is one of recognizing the smallest component imaginable in the evolution of what is, of what God is, and of what God means.

God’s presence expands, it grows, and it deepens. It deepens because of your own effort to live according to your understanding of love and of one another. As your love grows, that increased presence of love adds to God’s presence. As we have said, God did not have a beginning and there is no end, but there is always growth.

We, who are your guides, experienced life in ways unlike what we experience in our present level or plane. Some of us who are your guides have evolved from human life. Some of us who are your guides have evolved from other knowing life-forms, lifeforms that were aware of a Spirit Center. We serve for your growth, and we bring to your experience much of what we have experienced in other life-forms, and in so doing, you grow in insight. You grow in the vision of the heart.

If we only could teach on the basis of what we learned as human beings, you would in some ways be retracing understandings that we had with little opportunity for greater insight, for greater vision of the heart. Much of what we therefore share with you is the result of having experienced many different life-forms. The form of life that we have now is purely spiritual, but that does not mean that we remain in this plane, for we evolve. We grow. We become. There come opportunities for us to exist in other forms that bring a greater awareness of God.

You may wonder once in spirit-form does one see God fully, does one know God fully, and the answer is no, for we all continue to grow just as you continue to grow. We expand in our capacity to be loving and to become love, just as you expand in your capacity to become loving and to become love. What separates human life from our lives is merely a different kind of energy manifestation, and yet just as snow and rain may seem different from one another, they both come from the same source. They both are different forms of water energy.

Fundamentally, therefore, there is no difference between your lives and ours. You may feel your own spirit whom we see has a beginning, but that beginning is truly a change in form. It is not a change in substance.

You come from love and to love you will return. You began as all love, and you cycle through the experience of becoming loving and then returning to being all love. The source of all you and we are is the same, and it is that source that has no beginning, that has no end. It is that source that you cannot fully define and draw a kind of circle around it and say, “This is what God is,” because as soon as you identify “this” as being God, you’re also implying “that” is not God. The reality is all is God, for all forms of energy have the same source. They all come from that source, and all forms of energy return to that source.

The oceans evaporate into the air, and that moisture falls and returns to nourish the earth in a different form, and that nourishment ultimately returns to its source transformed with different meaning, with different characteristics, but it still is from that source. It is for this reason that we urge all to recognize that commonality that you share with everything that you are aware of, all human beings, all forms of life, all items that may not seem to have life and yet they do. You are not separated from the stones on the ground. You are not separated from the rain that falls. You are not separated from the fields that nourish the body. You are not separated from the air that you breathe. You are not separated from the stars in the heavens. You are all the same entity. You all belong to the same creation. You may appear differently. You may have different purposes in life, different functions, but you are indeed all coming from the same source and therefore belong to that unity.

For those who are approaching their transitions to spirit life, it is important to recognize it is not a start. It is not a finish. It is merely another stage in the transformation of all that belong to the Spirit Center.

Find peace in your sense of belonging.

Find peace in the connections you feel.

Find peace in the connections you offer.

Find peace in the love you receive.

Find peace in the love you bestow.

Amen.
