You impact those for whom you pray.
October 30, 2014
God works with each of you. God joins your efforts of hearts and spirit. God indeed opens your eyes to the greater world beyond your normal vision. Your eyes are opened for the purpose of growth. Your eyes are opened to a deeper understanding of life and of life after life and equally of life before life, for there is indeed only life.
It is a reality that many fail to see, but it is a great truth that there is only life. There is nothing in existence that is without life—life as an energy, a presence, a direction, a purpose, something to be fulfilled, something to be nurtured. When you experience life beyond human life, there is no death; there is no end. There is only life. There is no oblivion or total unawareness. Life is complete at all times. Life is full at all times.
Where the difficulty arises is how you define life. If you only define life in human terms, then there is seemingly a beginning, an immediacy of what is sensed, and then there is an end to human energy. You refer to this as death, but it is in no way a true death. Your life in the most profound and meaningful sense was never begun. You experience only a fragment of what life really is.
You are the same person you were as a child, a baby, but as a young child, you had no concept, really, of the meaning and impact of being an adult. Yes, you saw adults, but you didn’t see yourself as an adult.
To all appearances, you are not the same as you were as a fetus, but you are the same. You have gone through a kind of evolution, a transformation, but you are the same person. You are a continuation of all that you were at the time of your birth.
And so it is with matters of life—the life of spirit, the life of soul, the life of being in human form. All that you are aware of is your current form of energy. You can speculate, you can inquire about life after human life, but you have no greater perception of the next phase of life than does a young child understand what it means to be an adult. The life you’re aware of is the life of what is present. There is nothing more that you can see with completeness, but the continuum that is life far exceeds either your memories or your anticipations. You have always been alive, and you shall always be alive. It is not a life in human form, but it is a life of consciousness and awareness.
Each of you have had lives that are fully real, that are characterized by a conscious set of feelings and responses, and you will continue to experience such consciousness because you have always been alive, and you shall always be alive. So it is with those who have joined us that you cannot see. Those whom you know, friends, family members, and those whom you know of are in their way as much alive as you.
We, your guides, are as aware and conscious as you are. Our awareness is sensitive to very different kinds of energy than your awareness. Just because you don’t see us, it does not follow that our life is any less—less rewarding, less comforting, less inspired—than yours.
For those for whom you pray, your prayers are indeed a connection. Those whom you pray for are in a very real sense fully aware of your existence, fully aware of who you really are, not what you are. They are fully aware of your prayers. They hear your prayers to God, not with their ears but with their spirit. You do have an impact, a very direct impact, on all for whom you pray, whether still in human form or not. There is an awareness that is strong yet soft, that is intense yet quiet, that is passionate and yet peaceful.
Those for whom you pray know of your prayers and benefit from them. The same is also true of your benefiting from their prayers, their presence in your life. When you ask for peace, when you pray for comfort, when you pray for God’s presence, those whom you know are very much a part of God’s response. Not only are they part of the response, but the guides of all human beings are part of the response. When you pray for help, it is not through a narrow opening that such help is received. God’s response is, in fact, the response of many working together, many souls who exist in our energy range, but also many souls whose opportunity it is to be guides for other human beings. There is a response that is from all. The difficulty is for you to acknowledge that response, to recognize it, to feel it, to know it is there.
We, as your guides, have a special connection to you, but our relationship with you is not fundamentally different from the relationship with all spirits and you. When we say God responds, even to needs that have been unvoiced or unrecognized, we could also say we respond in the same way, because we are a part of what God is. We can also say that all spirits respond to the needs that are there, whether they are your guides, your family, your ancestors, God—all are united.
You, in ways you do not recognize, are responding to the needs of those around you. You have an impact on others. You have the potential to strengthen, to comfort, to uplift, and support. All of those powers lie within a loving presence. The response of God, therefore, is not limited to God, for all of you are a part of God, and therefore all of you share in the response to the prayers that are given to God.
There is no possibility of your fully sensing in what ways you directly benefit someone else whose prayer is unspoken, but you can have faith that you are responding. That part of you that is fully love is what responds. Of course, you experience anger and frustration, maybe even jealousy or greed, but those are small components that make up the you that we know. The responsive part of you is not such negative components, but rather the response comes from all that is a part of you, motivated by love, by compassion, by appreciation, by valuing, and by your nonjudgment. God’s response is therefore your response, and it is for each of you to find ways of recognizing the response from God that also originates with you.
We are not the only spirit entities that communicate with human beings. We communicate through the heart. We communicate with your spirit, but so do all. All spirits, all those whom you love who exist and flourish in our particular form of energy, communicate to you. You may not hear lots of voices, but the power of collective communication by all souls is undeniable. The power of that communication is always positive, is always beneficial, is always loving.
What can you do to enhance the lives of those on our plane whom you love? You are asked to do for them as you do to all whom you know. It is one of surrounding another with all that is good, with all that reflects your perception of God. When you approach those in human form in such a way, you are actually conveying that loving connection across any boundaries you feel may exist. You are serving to bring light and peace, understanding to those who exist only in spirit energy-forms.
Your talk tonight was in part about your faith, the suffering of others, where you sit in that relationship in your understanding of what it means to be suffering physically, emotionally. Your relationship with others must be fully open in heart. Your relationship must be all-inclusive. With your spirit, embrace all of creation. Human beings and nonhuman entities alike can feel your embrace, offered not so much physically but in your spirit, in your spirit of care and giving and sharing and being and listening.
You are a part of a grand scheme of living. You are a part of what life is, just as you have always been a part of what life is and shall be such a part. Human life is just human life. It is no different than characterizing someone as an infant. That is not a judgment of condition but an affirmation of the present.
Embrace by caring. Embrace by seeking an understanding of what it means to be godly in your interactions with all life that you see, with all senses. Embrace your life as part of the lives of all who have lived human life, for you are also a part of all who shall live long after you have transitioned to a different form of energy. You belong to all that was, is, and shall be, for all of that is part of God’s being present. It is a limitless continuum of life. Embrace where you are, acknowledge the past, welcome the future, and be grateful for your awareness of the vastness of all you experience.
You are blessed as all are blessed. You are given vision as all are given vision. You are capable of love as all are capable of love. You heart expands as your vision broadens. May you continue to seek a connection not only with your guides but with all you are aware of, human and nonhuman, for in so doing, you embrace the God that truly embraces each of you.
Amen.
