Your soul responds to others you have not met.
January 23, 2024
It is to God that you pray. It is to God that each of you ask for what you feel is most needed for yourself and for others. Your guides are part of that presence of God. We are not in any way intermediaries. You do not have to pray specifically to us for your help, believing that we then will communicate to the Spirit Center.
All prayers are to the Spirit Center. There are no intermediaries. All prayers are to God with whatever identity you wish to relate. God is not a name. There is no proper name for God. The only thing necessary is to acknowledge that there is a creative and loving presence that unites everyone and everything.
When you ask God for direction, you are asking the Spirit Center, but you are also asking us, and you are asking the spirit presence of all knowing beings. You are praying to the entirety of spirit. If your neighbor prays to God, it is not to the exclusion of your guides nor your spirit, for your neighbor is praying to your spirit as well. Such prayers may not be directed towards a specific entity other than God, but God is all, and so the prayers that are offered to God are offered to all.
So often we speak of God’s presence. God’s response to human life is not something that comes from the heaven above. It comes from all sources including each of you, indeed all people. We say that the response of God is the response of all that is spirit. Your soul responds to the crying out of others whom you have never met and whom you will not meet. Your spirit, your soul, that part of you that is eternal is responding to all prayers that are offered. Your soul is responding to all needs of spirit, and in that response, you grow.
We talked about human beings growing. Your soul is growing. That growth occurs independent of a conscious will for that to happen. By that we mean you do not have to acknowledge the necessity of your soul to grow for it to grow. Souls grow because they are alive, because they have the capacity to be loving. You grow because you are alive, because you have the capacity to be loving. You grow through your experiences in life whether you identify those experiences as the source of growth or not.
Growth of all that exists is guaranteed. Sure, there is a disintegration of sorts. There is a disintegration of physical attributes, but we talk about growth in a spiritual sense. The nature of all that is engaged in spirit is one of constant growth. You can claim to reject God, and you will grow. You can claim to reject your neighbor, and you will grow. Growth belongs to what spirit really is.
We talk about light expanding. Light is an energy, and that energy always moves. It is always expanding. It may be contained, at times it may be diminished, but it is always in the act of becoming. You are in essence a form of energy, and you are in the process of becoming. You cannot stop that process. You can enhance it, you can have an impact on it, whether positively or negatively, but it continues. At whatever pace it may be, the growth continues.
You may tire at times from hearing about the unity of all, but it is absolutely essential that your awareness of that unity becomes central to the growth that takes place. There is no substantial difference between your spirit and us, between your spirit and God, between your spirit and each bit of existence that you are aware of. Everything is connected, and because of that connection we can reiterate that prayers to God are prayers to all. There is no intermediate step.
When you pray to God for the benefit of those you know who exist in a purely spiritual form of energy, those spirits know of your prayers because the movement on this sphere of spirit is felt, is recognized, is acknowledged by all on this sphere. When you suffer, the spirits of all that exist share in that suffering. When you seek balance in health in the world as you know it, that energy of seeking God’s presence is felt, is recognized by all that is spirit.
Certainly, when you pray on behalf of another, that other individual may not be aware consciously of your prayers, but those prayers on behalf of another are loving prayers, and it is that loving presence that provides strength, that provides the connection to all that exists.
We know you have great interest in the well-being of those you have loved, and we can say that for each of them, as is true for all souls, growth in love is ongoing, and that growth brings enormous peace, and with that peace is a strengthening of the spirit.
You are always asked to pray for those whom you find difficult or challenging in your day to day life, for it is in those prayers that there is an energy of reconciliation. We spoke of the necessity to reconcile differences. Any prayers that you offer with love toward the highest benefit of spirit will be answered, and part of the answer to those prayers is a deepening of a condition necessary for reconciliation.
As was noted, strife involves more than one person. It doesn’t mean that both are offensive toward one another, but both are impacted by that strife, the one who feels it is necessary to be right, to be dominant, but the other experiences that tension as a victim. Anytime there is strife, there is pain that is felt on both sides of the conflict.
Praying for another is opening that window for reconciliation to begin. That reconciliation involves forgiveness that is exercised in both directions. It is those acts of reconciliation that provide that energy that reaches outward to be a true reflection of the presence of God that you pray for.
Reconciliation is one form of being loving. It is not a denial. To the contrary, it is an embrace of the other. It is an embrace of the validity of another’s existence. That embrace is a true act of love. This embrace results in the growth in all that are involved, an act of reconciliation. That growth is the growth of spirit.
There are life-forms that are not oriented toward an understanding of what reconciliation means. But such life-forms are no less vital, for they were created through the same loving energy that has led to your own current life-form.
The question of reincarnation was brought up as it relates to our most recent message for you. In popular culture, there is the question of what kind of life-form you were before your human life, and what kind of life-form will be in your future. In that context, the past and the future are cloaked in the limited recognition that you have of life in its many forms.
All forms of spirit are of equal value. Forms that we identify as knowing life-forms are not more valuable than life-forms that know nothing of a creative force beyond their existence, and yet all life-forms, whether knowing or not knowing, consist in part of God’s reality. All that exists everywhere, whether on earth, whether on other physical locations, or whether in pure spirit-form belong equally to God’s creation. There is no distinction in value, only in perspective.
Your soul has always existed in the condition of being empowered to recognize a Spirit Center. We are not saying that all such spiritual forms are measurably aware, but they have the potential. They have the capability. In previous lives, for some, it has been human. For others, it has been nonhuman but always in some form of knowing energy. We can say the same for your realities after human life. There will always be some form of knowing energy, knowing life-form.
Each soul, each form of energy, each sacred entity has its own role to play. For some forms of energy, knowing of a creator is not essential. For other forms of energy, such knowledge is central to their existence. But whether a spiritual entity is knowing or not knowing of a creative Spirit Center, there is no distinction, for all belong to the totality that is God.
It is for that reason that we keep impressing upon you the importance of accepting the life of all that exists. Accept human life. Respect it. Embrace it. Likewise accept nonhuman life. Respect it. Embrace it. Accept all that is inanimate. Respect it and embrace it. It is in your efforts to accept and embrace that you grow in the most significant ways.
Your life is blessed in your knowing. Your life is blessed in your not knowing. Your life is blessed as you acknowledge the presence of God. Your life is blessed when you are denied that knowledge. Whatever your calling in life, whatever your relationships are, they are what they are with the blessing of God’s presence. There is no absolute darkness. There is always some form of light. For many, you can be a light in their darkness, and in your darkness, you can be open to receive the light of many.
Proceed on your pathway with the full conviction that you are growing, that all around you is growing, that God’s presence is expanding, and that you are in the light.
Amen.
